Our sump pump broke on a Saturday night at midnight. **** ****** was here at 9am Sunday to install a new sump pump. Our insurance paid us right away the capped amount for the claim. This guy came out on Sunday and put out blowers in the basement and pulled up the hardwood floors on Monday, but we kept asking for a price and he would not give us a price. We then asked him to leave on Tuesday since he would not give us a price and low and behold he is now asking for $8300.00 for literally maybe 6 to 8 hours worth of work. It is quite ridiculous. We tried to discuss this over the phone and him and his wife Rachel were acting very unprofessional. I would not deal with these people. We do not want them to contact us any further. They have zero ****** review for a reason. They are trying to scam insurance out of monies and go through insurance and over charge the insurance company, which is called insurance fraud.

You were given a price the price was $7500-$8500. We were unsure of how long it would need equipment to be completely dry. We only charged for two days worth of drying. You were given a verbal price quote as we both acknowledged during our conversation February 9th. We sent you an invoice the same day that you told us to come and get our equipment. Also offering to leave the equipment there for free for any additional days of drying. You declined and threw our equipment in the garage toppled over and tangled up. You had the invoice at that point not the estimate. Let’s not forget that this was all after hours on the weekend. We are not price gouging, if we were your insurance company definitely would have called us out on it, which did not happen. As we stated yesterday, when we spoke with you, that is the standard price that is preloaded on xactimate. your adjuster informed us the claim was paid out and approved. If we were price gouging this would not have happened. While I am sorry, you feel this way we are at an impass. You were paid for the claim, and for some reason don’t want to pay for the work. You told me that you would like me to give you a discount and refund your insurance company because you didn’t like my price.  I don’t really know how I could make you happy as I stated yesterday.
