I contacted Ryan N****** with Clear View Construction LLC about having a pole barn built. He was courteous and professional throughout the bidding and color selection process. He was given a deposit of $29k in April of 2022 with construction to be completed by July 4th, 2022. He was hard to reach for weeks at a time, reporting he was "in the hills with bad service". Finally, after multiple no-shows on delayed starting dates provided by him, I requested a full refund in accordance with the contract. He stated he understood and would be emailing me with the return information. He has since broken contact. I would not recommend Clear View Construction to anyone, for anything.

End of February 2022 I paid Ryan N****** $18,100 as a first payment to "hold my spot" for a pole barn project. The total project quote was for $68,300. Per the contract, the project would start 4/2/2022 and would take 3-4 weeks to complete. Throughout April, May and June, I was in contact with Ryan via phone and text, on his plan to get started and finish. Ryan would give me a day and never show up. He did show up twice, he knocked down some trees and laid concrete pieces for the for the driveway extension. After the 3 months of no-shows and more research into Ryan N******, Clear View Construction and *** **** ************* **** *** ******** ** ** ***** * ***** ****** ***** *** ***** **** **** *** *** ****** ***** *** *** **** *****

I hired Ryan N****** Of Clearview Construction LLC on 1/29/22 to build a 30x40 pole barn, complete with all utilities brought over from the house, insulation and finished interior walls and ceiling for $63,400. I gave him a $15k deposit. The project was to be completed no later than 5/5/22. He and his 1, sometimes 2 or 3 man crew rarely showed up for more than a few hours at a time when they did show up. 9 of the posts were set on 5/17/22, 12 days past the contracted completion date with no work on getting utilities over. On 5/19/22, 7 more posts were set. On 5/20/22, 8 posts were dug up and pulled out of the ground due to being in the wrong location. 4 days later the posts were put back. The posts were to be on 8' centers he put them on 10' centers on the gable ends. The trusses were delivered on 5/27/22, 22 days after the contracted completion date. Ryan blamed the truss manufacturer for his delay so I called the company and the trusses had only been ordered 9 days prior. After starting to install the trusses he had to dig up more posts and move them so they would fit. He dropped trusses from 16' in the air by trying to put them up with a skidsteer. On 6/9/22 I hired another person to install the underground plumbing in the barn so that he could concentrate on getting the building shell done. Ryan and 3 guys showed up the following day for a few hours, fixing mistakes they had made on the perlins and then stopped showing up altogether. 3 days went by with no one showing up, with my barn being almost 2 months late on completion, and not even 25% complete. I had to terminate him so that I could hire someone else to complete it. After having other contractors out to look at it, I am going to have to pay extra to have his mistakes fixed before any new construction can take place. Posts have to be moved and trusses have to be uninstalled and reinstalled correctly. He has left a huge mess of trash, broke my fence, & has cost me a lot of wasted time and money.
