    Entered under contract with employee **** ******. Job was not done according to quote. New deck roof was not put on right. He was contacted several times afterwards up to October, I started to contact him again in April of 2024 since besides deck errors the grout on kitchen floor was cracking and spaces were left between tiles. Told me he could come out 6/12 at 10am , he never showed. Then 6/18 again never showed. In the meantime i contacted ***** ****** office manager at handyman home genius. She stated she would get in touch with **** ******, received more excuses that baby was sick then he contacted Covid. I am not disregarding these medical problems but again there was no followup. I gave him till July 16th then contacted him again. He replied he would put us on schedule for July 29th No call no show Contacted him again August 5th, 12th and 19th. I received no acknowledgment or reply. Left a message for ***** ****** at Handyman Home Genius and have not received any reply. This company is now refusing to acknowledge my calls or messages.. I just want these problems fixed This was a good deal of money for us to spend being on a fixed income. The fact that they just offer one excuse after the other and then not take our messages at all is poor business..I have save all text messages and correspondences if needed.

    Yes myself and my company have been in contact with this client. I tried several times to get out to her home, and did make it out to look at the issues. The tile in her kitchen that she's referring to is one hair line crack in the grout, that's it. I did tell her during this process that it was not warrantied because I did not install the tile and I do not know what substrate was used. But to only get a hair line crack in 1 year was pretty good. 

    As far as exterior work goes, the materials used were what they asked for and what we installed. Due to extreme heat and rain this year it caused shrinkage. I can not, and did not warranty any part of this job. I did tell her I would her I would come and try and repair it, but unfortunately I've been extremely busy.

     

    As far as my contract goes, this job was not warrantied and I did do everything I said I would do, according to contract.

     I am rejecting this response because: he did come out and look at issues. Told me that he would repair deck roof and fix tile. Later he told me had bought materials to do so. He did not honor work order and did not secure panels as he described. He did this job in June and by September the panels had shifted. I did keep notifying him and sending him pictures, however he did not come to  physically come to the house till this summer. He tried to blame it on weather. I did tell him that they were like that before winter. Busy or not, this was his poor workmanship and he should fix his mistakes.  He also continues to make follow up appointments and then never shows.  He had been stone walling these repairs since last summer.  All I want is for him to fix his mistakes.
