Essential has not been performing professionally this year - communication has been lacking. Finally on 07/19 their lawnmowers left deep ruts and tire tread patterns throughout our lawn. When I sent pictures of the lawn destruction the company’s response was to terminate our service without any offer to repair the damage to our lawns. They never trimmed bushes which trimming was in contract. Weeding left foreign matter - vines and weeds growing up through bushes.

This is in response to the complaint: Essential did mow his lawn after a rain and we created mud tracks in his lawn, I personally went out the next week 7-29, as I was an vacation when this happened. I looked for any damage and there was minimal to no visible damage. Essential does stand behind our work and service, we are not charging for the last service as a courtesy. 

The shrub trimming was done at the time of the mulching, but several of the shrubs were blooming and our sales manager spoke to him about this and decided not to trim those particular shrubs, we were planning on coming back out and finishing those at a later date. As far as the vines and weeds, this is the first we have heard of this complaint, but many of the shrubs are overgrown, the client did not want any herbicides post and pre to help prevent new weed growth, just pulling weeds does not eliminate any new growth.  We have not done any landscaping or mowing for this customer since 2016, I do not recall the reason why we discontinued service, the only work we have been performing until this year was irrigation services. 

Essential has tried very hard to please this customer, he has complained several times about the service, we wanted to terminate our agreement several months ago, but he didn't want to do this. He has aluminum gates that have been previously broken, the frame was cracked at almost every corner and very hard to open, it completely broke when we tried to open it, he claimed it was out fault. I have a picture of his gate showing that he had attempted to repair it previously with some very small screws and angle brackets. Even though Essential should not have fixed the gate, we took it off and had it professionally welded, the other gate that we don't use is still in poor shape. Essential went over and above to please him. We did have some communication issues with our sales team and office staff, but they were all addressed, they were all just miscommunications which the customer fully admitted too. We understand that we are not perfect and can not please everyone all the time. This is why Essential decided it was best that we cancel our working relationship.
