I have been a resident of City Walk for more than three years. Recently, I transitioned to a larger apartment and was pleasantly surprised by how new it felt upon my arrival. There were a few minor issues that needed attention, but they were resolved swiftly. It's refreshing to see dedicated individuals genuinely invested in the well-being of the community. The office staff is welcoming, and the maintenance crew is incredibly efficient! Property Manager Michelle and her team have truly transformed this place for the better! A+!Review from Matthew F

Started with the lies within 1 minute of being on the phone with them. Business completely lacks all morals and ethics. Chad Y. went out of his way to lie and mislead a disabled person into his scam. Told us one thing, did another. We left this location under the impression that only an initial application process had begun, and that we would only be submitted for consideration if we provided a certain set of information. We never did so. In fact we called within 1 business day of visiting stating we need to withdraw. Major health issues (ptsd/major depressive disorder) landed me in the hospital for several days due to my life being in jeopardy. Business lied to us about the entire process, and that we would be able to cancel. Chad Y. explicitly told us that we were only starting the application that day, and nothing else. We were also told until all of the information we provided our application would NOT BE PROCESSED. Location then proceeds the go against their own word to ‘push it through’ missing information that we never intended to provide. In fact we let them know immediately that we would not be able to move, and to remove us from consideration. They ignored our calls while they starting running with their scam. My wife and I are still being harassed to this day! I am in contact with multiple parties on how to deal with this business, including the White House. As a disabled man I feel degraded, harassed, and taken advantage of. I let the tour guide know on the day I did not feel right due to mental illness and apparently that means Arbors will try to pull one over on you. Do not ever consider this location, and do not ever trust a word that they say. They will lie and say whatever they need to trick you, including lying about what they are asking you to sign, and lying about the entire application process. Also a step sibling of mine had bed bugs at this location and they refused to exterminate. They let the bugs destroy all her stuff.Review from Steve and Kathy A

We have lived in one of their properties for almost a year now, and are delighted with their service. The property is meticulously maintained. The flowers and plantings in spring, summer, and fall are beautiful. The winter decorations are marvelous. When it snows, the sidewalks are shoveled immediately. When ever we have a maintenance issue, it is solved by the next day. We would highly recommend anyone to move to one of their properties.Review from Amy W

I’ve live at Carmel Center for 2 years now. There have been ups and downs and changes in that time but, everyone I've dealt with in the office or maintenance have been very nice, helpful and knowledgeable about their business.Review from Taunya K

I moved to Carmel Center before Thanksgiving of 2024 and so far I really feel at home. Lyndsey, Michael, and Alyssa have been kind, professional and answered all my questions and I had a lot. I know some reviews can be concerning they did me too, but as a current resident, I have to say that there is no harm in visiting Carmel Center, taking a tour and asking all the questions and share your concerns. I could really say a lot more as I have met some of my neighbors and thier furbabies and my experience so far has been wonderful. In the end, listen to your gut instinct and give Carmel Center a call. No harm in conversation. Best of luck to you and wherever you find your new home. If this at Carmel Center, then welcome neighbor!Review from Michelle H

When they say luxury here at Carmel Center, they know exactly what that means and how to accomplish it to perfection.. My husband and I live in a beautiful luxurious 2 bdrm. Our apartment is the perfect size. The floors are beautiful. The entire property is well maintained. The office staff, including Lyndsey and Michael Anthony sold us immediately on living here. They were always professional, informative and just down right friendly. The amenities are very nice. I love working on the computer in the business center. The workout room is to die for. I’m so thankful we found the right place at the right time. All around top notch place to live. I recently had a baby shower in the meticulous clubhouse and it was a success. If you are looking for luxurious living…. Then look no further. Carmel Center Apartments is the place to live!!!Review from Dacia C

1), The Paddock at Eastpoint (owned by the Connor Group) raised my father-in-law's rent from $1,499 to $1,599 a month, claiming everyones' rent was going up. I had to co-sign a new lease for him on 7/20/23. Today, is 11/30/24 the price for his apartment, the SULTAN, is still listed as starting at $1,499. So why is it still listed online the same as what it was the day he signed his first lease in 11/8/22? 2) The Paddock refused to provide us with a copy of the new lease. When I co-signed the new lease agreement on a computer pad, the representative claimed she could not print it out. She gave me a partial copy of the front page without any signatures. She claimed the first page was the only page that changed, so I could just put it on front of his old lease. 3) We needed to break the lease early due to my father-in-law (FIL) no longer being able to leave alone with his health declining. I tried to speak with *** about breaking the lease with a doctor's note. She kicked my FIL and me out of the office. She said that he could break his lease with a doctor's note and only be charged a small fee. Then locked the door. While at a memorial out-of-state, the Connors' Group pulled $2028.52 from my FIL's account on Oct. 3 or 5, 2024, despite giving a 60 days written notice at the end of July of 2024. We NEVER received his $600 deposit. I have sent a certified letter (Nov. 16, 2024), visited the local rental office, left messages, texts & emails. I received one text/email from Maria prior to my letter, claiming that it is The Connor Group's policy that my FIL must pay two months rent to break his lease. I took my FIL to the bank & blocked the them from taking out Nov. rent. A new renter was already moved in the place by Nov. Unsure about Oct. My brother's body was found Oct. 24, 2024 (suicide). I cannot believe I had to leave working on my brother's obituary to stop these individuals from taking Nov. rent from an 84 yr retired KY teacher in assisted living.Review from Jordan C

Unfortunately, the Aston North Scottsdale is a terribly run and horribly unsecured property, and the Connor Group has done nothing to improve this but lock people into binding leases through shady, manipulative tactics and neglect its residents. My biggest grievance is the DOMESTIC SHOOTING that occurred on property Halloween night including several individuals from MANAGEMENT and MAINTENANCE. The Connor Group handled the situation horribly thereafter. Instead of transparently informing residents of the incident and offering us an option to peacefully vacate our leases, after the safety and security of our home had been breached by those responsible with keeping it, but the Connor Group did not even inform residents of the full situation. A short email was sent out informing us of a “domestic incident” and extra security and police expected to be around. They then replaced the entire on-site staff, either shipping them off or removing them from their positions and the property. New management is “temporary” and “doesn’t know anything.” The Connor Group does not even have an early termination clause in their leases, you are simply required to pay the remainder of the term. I am appalled by the Connor Group and the way it has treated its residents. On top of this, in less than a year at the Aston I have experienced: - Overly aggressive sales tactics, scaring residents into renewing due to “high demand in prices” that haven’t changed in months - Delivery drivers leaving packages all over the property, rarely in lockers as they almost never have access to the proper areas to deliver. - Residents partying and having sexual relations in the pool area all night - A perpetual beeping in the parking garage that can be easily heard throughout the apartment complex - The health department had to shut down the pool due to improper maintenance and cleaning - Multiple broken doors on the property taking months to repairReview from Nancy K

My family & I are happy & blessed to be at Cross Creek ?? We’ve lived here 3 years & enjoy the well-kept grounds & swimming pool. Our rooms are really spacious & laid out well. (I also love our fireplace ??) Our office associates are a pleasure to work with! They are so pleasant & always attentive to your needs. If a maintenance problem arises, they are right on it & keep you informed. This may sound too good to be true, but I only have high praise for Cross Creek & would encourage anyone to check it out for themselves.Review from laquana J
