Got a letter in April saying that our taxes were offset for a debt, spoke to OAG who told us to contact a different law firm but gave us the number to Rossman. Confirmed with the other law firm that they do not have an account for me or my wife. Now I can't even get ahold of anyone at this place to tell me why I supposedly owe money. Neither my wife nor I have any outstanding debt in our credit reports and we have never received letters or calls saying we owe money, but suddenly our tax refunds are being withheld for a debt over $11k?? Makes no sense.

TI received an offset letter from the Ohio Dept. Of taxation saying they were keeping our refund because of a debt. I called the Ohio Attorneys General's office. They said we were paid unemployment and it was turned into collections. What!? We never filed for unemployment. We were told to file a fraud claim. We did. She gave us the number to this Rossman company. No answer. No return calls. I have repeatedly tried to reach them at ***-****-****. My Account Number with the Ohio Attorney General's Office is ********

I received a letter from the Ohio Department of Taxation that my refund has been offset. There is no explanation of who why, .When or where. I have called Rossman over and over leaving messages for a return phone call. So far.....crickets. I have never received a letter from any agency or business stating I owe anything to anybody. I demand this issue get resolved and I will be monitoring my credit report for any negative marks.

We received an offset letter from the ohio dept. Of taxation saying they were keeping our refund because of a debt. I called the ohio attorneys office. They said we were paid uneployment and it was turned into collections. What!? We never filed for uneployment. We were told to file a fraud claim. We did. She gave us the number to this Rossman company. No answer. No return calls. I have repeatedly tried. Said extension *** was not available. Tried again today and they've changed it saying name of company now. We can not get any answers from anyone!!! This is frustrating! We reject this because we never got any notice or phone call saying we owe this certain amount. If we get no answers the dept. Of justice is closing our file. This is not our debt!! I feel this is a big scam!!

Department of Taxation sent Rossman info on me and a letter to me. state referred me to Rossman. They never answer their phone. over 200 calls. State keeps referring me to them. I dont know what dabt I have. They have offset my state return of 300.00. it has been going on for over a month. I just want someone to call so we can discuss the problem. The state should not use Rossmsn as a representative . The taxation department should communicate better wiith people. very unhappy.

Had a negative report placed on my credit by rossman. Tried to contact them as this was not my **** and got no response for a month. After the 6th phone message they said I would have to file a complaint with the credit company. This is not correct as they placed the hold. Absolutely a sleazy lawyer.
