    Had my car serviced here numerous times there…went in for a engine replacement and was fixed $7,100.00. Car came out with check engine light and was said it would go away… never did. Took the car for a e-check for plates and failed for code.. P0449 Evap control system vent valve/solenoid. Took the car back to service shop and had problem fixed for 275.00 even. Was told light would go off after driving for certain amount of time miles etc. Light never went off. Called numerous times to bring the car back in and was hassled and told there was nothing they could do and wait time was over 3-4 weeks. So after many times of trying to get a appointment to meet my schedule never happened. And now 1 more year later I need plates again and failed e-check for the same exact code. I’ve tried to reach them again and again with no reply or response.

    My service manager spoke with ******* father and we advised them to bring the vehicle in and we can take a look at it and see what is happening.  The customer hasn't brought in the vehicle yet.

    I was having trouble with the drivers side window on my 2019 kia forte I took it in for repair thinking it would be covered they did a diagnostic test on it then called and said it was not covered because they said it was physically damaged that is not true they wanted me to pay 275.00 they had a sale going on so I traded it in and then got told I can't get the new car I had to pay them 72.00 for them looking at the car I traded in for diagnostics or I couldn't buy the new car.i was terribly treated by the *** *** she was terrible she said we had to pay the 72.00 to service to be able to get a new car that is bribery.

    I was driving I went over a small pot hole at 35mph (which the pictures I submitted will show you) I heard a metal snapping noise in the rear, my Kia Sportage immediately started to fishtail with no control headed for a head-on collision with a utility pole, but at the last split second the car catapulted itself into a snowbank. When I had the mid-size SUV towed to Halleen Kia, Halleen Kia blamed me for the accident and had me submit a false claim to my insurance company without them doing a proper investigation of the poor craftsmanship parts to the rear left hub and knuckle which they said had separated when going over this small pot hole. I tried calling Kia customer relationships about this and I have not heard anything back from them also they have had my car from January 17 until March 3rd 2022, which is well over a month and a half. I have exhausted my 30-day rental agreement in my insurance clause and Halleen Kia would not provide me a loaner car while I was waiting these backordered parts to come in so they could repair the midsize SUV. I have been without a vehicle for over a week and a half. What I would like to be done is an investigation into this poor craftsmanship of the left hub and knuckle and what is the ratio of impact that could cause a hub and knuckle to separate while driving this brand new Kia Sportage with only over 200 miles. I want to be refunded my deductible also Halleen Kia should cover these parts under the warranty of this brand new Kia Sportage 2022. And as you can see all the damage to the left rear side is all from the inside of the vehicle which is obvious that there is a case for poor craftsmanship, it was poorly casted these parts that caused the accident I had January 17 2022 which could have killed me! I can only imagine if I was going 60mph on the highway and something like this happened. Also this car is a lemon considering it is having these issues with only over 200 miles which is poorly designed or manufactured.

    Thank you for your inquiry.  I looked into this matter with our service department.  The customers vehicle has been completed and he has picked it up.  The customer would have had to start a insurance claim with his insurance company.  We can't initiate it and we can't make the claim.  That would all be between him and the insurance company.  If he has issues with the build quality of the car I would refer him to the manufacturer Kia Motors America.  They offer the warranty on the vehicle and we perform the repairs that they authorize.  In this case they deemed it to not be a manufacturers defect.  Their customer service line is 800-333-4KIA.
