    I recently had an issue with my car that required over 2500 dollars worth of electrical work. I got the car back, and after a few weeks of driving around I was told that both my tail-lights and right turn signal were completely out. I spent 2500 dollars at Ken Hanley Westside Imports, and they couldn't even bother checking that the car was safe to drive before giving it back. They are grossly negligent, and I will never be going back there again.

    I encountered significant issues with this business. Although they claimed to have resolved the initial problem with my car, several other issues were neglected. Despite bringing it in for a turning noise, the repair took months, accompanied by excessive fees. Additionally, they misplaced my key, allowed the battery to die, and attempted to charge $500 for a new one. After purchasing a new battery, various dashboard lights appeared, and they asserted their inability to address the issues.

    I took my car to this dealership on August 24th due to engine failure. The service representative called me on August 25th to confirm the car and said diagnostics would be ran by September 5th. I called on the 5th, 6th and my car was still not looked at. I called the 7th and she said my car went through one diagnostic and she would start to collect paperwork for the warranty department. Then the 8th and 9th of September she did not contact me or call the customer care center of ******* back. I called September 11th and she said more tests need to be ran for my car for the warranty department. During the past two weeks, the dealership has not offered a rental or loaner vehicle. I called customer care of ******* and they said they cannot offer paperwork for a rental reimbursement due to the dealership not filing paperwork for my car. I am thoroughly disappointed in the customer care of this dealership. They were not transparent with information of my vehicle and how long this process would be. I was told 3 months for my engine to be replaced but was not told that it would take over 2-3 weeks before my car would even be checked. I have maintained this vehicle with regular maintenance checks and oil changes. This issue is due to a recall that was supposedly fixed and software updated in 2022. Now, I am paying for car insurance, car payment, Uber rides all while having a car that sits at a dealership. Before this experience, I loved my car! But unfortunately, I will never buy a ******* again and I urge everyone to also not purchase a ******* vehicle. Although the warranty seems great, unfortunately the dealerships are slammed and parts are back ordered. Nothing is quick and recalls are abundant. I have spent hours on the phone trying to speed this process along and nothing seems to help. I am frustrated and disappointed with this whole process.

    On 10/20/22, I phoned the Ken Ganley Westside Imports dealership and talked to salesperson Dylan C******* and I asked if they would honor the deal that Subaru posted on its website for a Base 2022 Forester; 285./mo. with 3185. due at signing (not counting taxes) through 10/31/22. He said yes and that they have one of these vehicles left. I told him I would be there soon. He had the vehicle waiting and we took a test drive. I said I want it. He took all my personal information: called my insurance agent to get my policy info. emailed to him and ran my credit check (which is excellent). I filled out all the necessary lease forms with all my personal information. He copied my driver's license. I first asked about the trade-in/ lease buy out amount on my existing car which has a positive $residual of 2 times as much as the required down payment on the deal. He said their policy is to give that number at the end, not before the application information is obtained. All my personal data was in their computer before he gave the unacceptable offer for my car. I was then told they do not honor the Subaru offer (that I came in for) and that the vehicle I was shown had more options on it and it costs more than the one in the special offer. I was then told that they do not have a Base Subaru like one in the offer. I feel violated and now they have all my personal data...social security#, income, etc. in their computer. I never would have given out my information had I known they really did not have the vehicle and they do not honor the special offer that Subaru is advertising. They wanted my car, an additional cash deposit of 3185. to get to the 285.00. I asked them to take my car out of the transaction and was given an extremely high monthly payment which was almost equal to buying the vehicle. This was all confirmed when the manager came over to verify that they need my car and an additional high cash down payment to get to the 285. per month. I feel they attempted to scam me.

    After our lease had ended in 2021, we signed a new lease with Ganley Westside Hyundai. We were told by the salesman Grant ******* Sales Manager Michael ********** and Finance Joshua ********** that everything would fine and apart from our down payment nothing would be owed at signing. Fast forward a year and there’s a collection charge off on BOTH of our credit scores for the previous lease. We were never notified or aware of this collection. After speaking with HMF, they explained that Ganley Westside Imports only partially paid the remaining balance on the lease and that the rest was still owed. I contacted the dealership on numerous occasions to no avail. When I physically went to their location; their lease end manager was nowhere to be found. I left voicemails along with multiple missed calls. Today I went back AGAIN to get some clearance and she legitimately hid and ran away from seeing me. The salespeople played along saying “she’ll be right back”, we’re calling her right now.” In one day a three year professional relationship has been destroyed. Easily the worst I’ve ever been treated over a business decision that is 100% their fault and now I’m stuck with paying a fee that should’ve been waived to begin with and no answers or accountability. On top of that, apparently this has been done on many many many occasions. They purposely hide the “disposition fee” in the paperwork and then when you figure out you’ve been got, they start point fingers at you and Hyundai Motor Finance who then turn around and do the same. Pathetic, embarrassing, crooked business tactics. Stay Away. Because when you need help they’ll just run away and hide before being honest and straight forward even when it doesn’t suit them
