We hired Smiff’s Construction to do a “refresh” on our 20 year old home. This included new flooring, painting our two story rooms and installing ceiling fans 20 feet up. New granite countertops, backsplash, along with new appliances and flooring in the kitchen. Josh and his team coordinated all of it. He provided us contacts at the flooring, tile and granite store and these people really knew their product line. We felt confident in our selections. Josh actually talked us out of one tile we liked because he knew it would not look proper with the cabinets and countertop. We trusted his opinion and are very happy with the results. What was important to us was up front pricing, a schedule of when to expect what, open lines of communication and most importantly, quality craftmanship. Smiff’s was able to deliver on all. We were so impressed with the inside work and ease of working with Josh and crew, that we added extra working including paint the exterior, fix the laundry room window/drywall issue and some other trim work outside. Smiff’s delivered in every aspect and we are very pleased with the results and the added value in our home.Review from REINHARD M

Josh and his team had replaced our flooring in our family room, kitchen, foyer and hall with vinyl plank flooring along with the trim. We couldn’t be happier with the work that was done. The work was done very professionally and his crew was very accommodating with any changes we had asked for. We would highly recommend them to any of our friends and family and definitely have them do future projects for us. Thank you Josh and his crew.Review from John O

Josh and his team did incredible work transforming our old, outdated kitchen into something magical. They added new flooring, cabinets, counters, trim, sink, paint, backsplash, lighting. Josh was able to assist me in finding someone (Matt) to tuck point my chimney and fix the mortar on my front stairs. Both Josh and Matt were wonderful to work with. Great communication, reasonable pricing, quick turn around and quality work. Very happy and highly recommend them for any project you may have in your home. If Smiff's can't do it, they will point you in the right direction to someone reputable/professional.Review from Julie F

Josh was professional and thorough. He provided options and broke down pricing so that I could stay within my budget. His crew installed flooring and removed a wall in my living room. The end result is impeccable and gave the modern look I wanted. The crew paid close attention to the smallest details and asked for my input as the project progressed. They made the wall look as if it had never been touched. The crew was friendly and polite. I will definitely be using their services for all of my future remodeling needs.Review from Diana D

Josh is a true professional. From the initial appointment, he was always prompt in responding to my numerous questions via email, text, call. He never made me feel like I was bothering him (even though I probably was, ha!). My kitchen turned out great. Josh and his team replaced the countertop, backsplash, floor and connected the sink and cooktop. Very pleased with the job done by the team at Smiff's Remodeling and would highly recommend.Review from Dave R

Josh and his guys laid down some tile in two bathrooms for me. Josh was very thoughtful and knowledgeable when he came out to scope the work. He was able to see the work required clearly and was thinking through a few steps ahead, even asking me about the vanity I planned to use and how the door would swing, even though these weren't part of his work. I requested they use a Schluter Ditra mat as the underlayment for the tile and he knew all of the nuances of the product. This product requires slightly different materials and application steps than using cement board and Josh knew all of the details. During the project, we encountered some subfloor and plumbing difficulties that slowed things down for a couple of days. Josh's guys did the repairs quickly and always focused on doing things right. Overall, they were punctual, stuck to the timeline, and delivered a great finished product. I'm looking forward to working with them on future projects and highly recommend them for yours.
