I spent a significant amount of money on the auction and picked up my items, per their policy. Sadly, almost every item I purchased was damaged and not usable, and missing parts. After contacting several manufacturers hoping to purchase the missing parts, I learned that some of them don't sell replacement parts for their merchandise. Soflo offers very limited hours ( Monday afternoons ONLY) to view the items that are for sale. Most of the items are boxed or re-boxed, giving the customer the impression that the items are brand new and unopened/unused. I purchased an exercise bike that was in a NEW BOX. NO DAMAGE. When I got it home, I opened it-it had been put in a new box. The bike was damaged, had no hardware, and the cover was completely cracked. Another box was a dining room table. Opened it and it was pieces of a twin metal bed frame. It wasn't even a dining room table! Items are listed on the website with inflated retail value and listed as NEW. Some items are actually damaged by Soflo employees (not on purpose). While customers are informed of the Monday afternoon viewing opportunity, they don't allow customers to open every box and sort thru contents and verify all parts and hardware are present, Or verify it actually works. Also, most people work and are unable to travel to Soflo on Monday afternoons. They sell numerous auction items as Cash and Carry, so they KNOW many of the boxes are missing parts - they are putting items together for Cash and Carry sales. The ones missing parts are taped shut and they simply get another one to assemble. So they DO KNOW a lot of the boxes are wrong. They just don't care and put it back for the auction.Despite the 'AS IS' notice on the site, SoFlo is engaging in deceptive sales practices by presenting items for sale that are not accurate or remotely accurate. Saying 'As Is' doesn't negate responsibility to engage in ethical business practices. They are KNOWINGLY selling items thru false and deceptive advertising.

I recent fell victim to some deceptive practices taken by the SoFlo sales site when I purchased a set of 2-adirondact chairs for the cost of $146.28 on October 2, 2022. The set of chairs were listed with an explanation to "use the box condition" to determine the condition of the product, which was reviewed online, however upon returning home with the purchase the goods, upon opening the box I found that the items were placed in a newer box (with the old, damaged box still in place. Additionally, the product was not in the box and only include pieces for a portion (80%) of one chair going well beyond the goods not conforming to the products being sold/advertised. Use of the new box to base condition off a partial and damaged product left me feeling deceived by the practices used to sell the goods. After reaching out to the customer support line (via email) for assistance they assured me nothing could be done, and the sale was final.

They utilized deceptive practices to lure unexpected consumers to purchase items. They listed a product with a value of one million dollars and possibly missing of remote control or power cord. The product was broken and nonworking. They led consumers to believe they were getting a working product that needed some added items.

We have described the TVs as problem-see below and also the attached picture.

Also, according to the terms and conditions(attached) of the auction all sales are final as is where is, and customer submitting the agreement and acceptations of them before placing bid/s.

We do have preview day/time, when all off the customers are encouraged to come physically and inspect the item/s they are willing to bid.
