  I desire a 1000.00 refund for uncompleted work plus subpar workmanship

  The job was completed and the customer paid in full. The next day his neighbor came over and criticized our work so we came back out the next day and made some improvements. He was still not satisfied so I offered him a partial refund in the amount of 850$. The customer denied the partial refund and said he was taking legal action.

  I am rejecting this response because:  

  in responce to job being completed, thats false not even close?6/?15/?2022 mr. ******** first crew failed to  complete the job on the first day they arrived,in  preperation they even left their tools here to return the next day. It was dark when they left andit wasn't until the next morning,in daylight, we saw how horrible the work they had done was  . At this point regretting we had paid them in full.  In doing so they stained our deck with the equipment that they had left behind.  But that they would be here the next day to complete it. I felt like I was played into giving them the full payment .The second day a whole differnt crew arrived, proceeded in dismantle all of the prior days work, and at the end of the day things had gotten worse .I found out later the crew had no experience or knowlege in how to construct the kit they bought for my job and that the kit itself was not designed for what they were doing .I also discovered later the one individual doing the majoraty of the work didn't know how to use the power tools that I let them use. We are aware that Mr ******** offered us $850 dollars but we had asked for $1000 dollars of our money back. After investigating the cost of supplies that Mr ******** invested, we came to toal of approx 400 dollars. We dont feel like we have  to pay for his employees since they didnt do the job they were contracted to do. Now we are having to hire and pay a Landscaper to redo the job they failed to do.
