We had a wonderful experience with Lemaster Tree Care! Our old maple tree has been losing branches for several years and another tree service charged a lot and removed branches but the tree continued to die. Lemaster's team sealed all the areas that the previous tree service had left open to insect and water damage, and removed more branches, thinned and anchored a branch where the tree was splitting. None of this was noted or addressed by the other service. They came when they said they would and charged a very fair price. I'd recommend them to anyone!

They spoke to my wife and quoted a price of 8000 for ONE tree and some trimming in the back of our home. We said no and got someone to do it for more than half of that. The next day, they go down the road and strong arm an older lady and get her for 2000 for mulch and trimming some trees. The cops were called and the company was told to leave when they threatened to pick up the mulch. This company is shady. Do not give them your business.

In November 2023, my neighbor hired this company to cut down several trees on his property and while they were there I happened to walk out onto my deck, at which point Jesse saw me and came over to discuss cutting down some of my trees. I in fact was considering having four trees cut down (one was an ash tree that was infested by the Emerald Ash Borer and was right up against the fence, another was a walnut tree that was up against my garage, the third was a large Blue spruce, and finally a large maple tree at the entrance of my house adjacent to the sidewalk and next to the powerlines). I was told they would cut down and remove the trees as well as grind the stumps down to ground level. The estimate for the work was $8000, with payment due at completion. I hesitatingly accepted. I wasn't told that he only accepts cash, checks, or Venmo until I attempted to pay with a credit card. When cutting the trees down they left large depressions throughout the yard where the branches and trees were allowed to fall full force. (When I've had other tree companies cut down and remove other trees, they used ropes and/or heavy equipment to gently lower the branches and tree trunks so that no large gouges would occur to the lawn.) Additionally, one of the heavy branches was thrown down and hit the sidewalk, causing part of the sidewalk to crack and depress slightly. Finally, they did a poor job with the stump grinding. With two of the trees, much of the stump still remained above the ground level. And in the other two areas, part of the stump remained due to their proximity to the fence and the side of the garage, which initially I understood. However, I have since hired another stump grinder who stated they just did not go deep enough with any of the stumps, and particularly with the two stumps that were next to the fence and garage; he was able to grind all four stumps much more adequately.

Great job cutting down two huge trees. First a Dutch Elm was about 3 feet from the front of our house.The tree was approximately 50 feet high 3 feet in diameter at the base. Vic’s crew cut the tree down with minimal damage to our bushes. Very difficult task when the tree was that close to the house. The second tree a pin oak with similar dimensions as the Dutch Elm was also removed. Vic’s team members were very responsive to all my request and very respectful. They also trimmed 4 other trees and cleaned up the yard after the completion of the job. Terry R

Are you looking for a Company that: 1. Does not provide a written contract before starting the work? 2, Does not follow the requirements of Ohio Consumer Home Solicitation law? 3. Does not do what they promised? 4. Attempts to charge expensive "add-ons" for work they agreed to do? 4. Uses high pressure sales tactics? 5. Attempts to bully and intimidates senior citizens? 6. Does not complete job as promised? 7. Leaves a mess so you must hire someone else to complete the job? If so, these are your guys! If not, SEND THEM AWAY ASAP!!! I only gave them a 1-Star because I could not leave a negative number.

Lemaster's Tree Care cut down a few branches for me . It looks like they did a good job and they cleaned up the mess. They were respectful and courteous.

Company took advantage of my 85 yr old mother tried charging my mother 3 different charges to do a topping job on two small trees no taller than 13’ to 15’ tall. First was 3000, then 1000, then 900, then 800 she agreed to that. She called me to come look at tree, with experience myself from many years working for my father in his tree company, it looked like they was there no longer then 30 mins one tree butchered the top left other side did not touch. The right one did not touch the top of it. I call him to ask for him to come back and finish the trees. He was very rude, kept asking me if I just needed someone to hang out with me, laughing with his workers then stating your mom is not getting her money back. I hope he wants to argue this because he is recorded on ring taking advantage of an elderly woman, and the phone call was recorded. Beware of this company, also not finished with this company he is refusing to send w-9.

These guys visited my parents' neighborhood today and started knocking on doors. My parents talked to them for a while and ended up agreeing to an estimate, but would not move forward without a contract. I looked up some reviews for the business and ended up here, so I advised them not to continue. When the guy returned with the estimate a little later, my parents said they needed more time to think about it and wanted to get some more estimates. The guy got upset and said multiple times that this was going to cost him a lot of money (writing up the contract) and the price would go up another $1,000 if they waited until fall. Sounds like a normal business-customer interaction, except the business end should make serious and sincere attempts to repair their reputation by controlling their emotions and respecting people's right to use caution when determining how to spend their own money. God bless them in any honest endeavors.

Company took advantage of an elderly man (my father) with dementia. Charged him an astronomical amount for a small job. When confronted the guy was rude and defensive. I turned around a few minutes later and guy was trying to get my father to agree to $2000 trimming of a tree that had been trimmed 2 years prior.

They did my hole yard 7 trees did a outstanding job at a reasonably priced service thank you
