The business advertised $99.95 for carpet cleaning. When they got to my house they said it would be $500. I told them that was not what was advertised and I was not going to pay that. The guy said he would be charging me a $45 travel fee, the literature says the travel fee is $25. HE then said he was going to charge the whole amount, I don't know what that meant.

Already spoke to this customer and he did not even want to listen to me. I explained to him that without a coupon it would have costed him $500 for the services he wanted and the tech told him the minimum service was $45 for the cleaning which was one of our coupons for a basic steam clean. His quote was $190 it was 99.95 for the coupon and $45 for sanitizer and $45 for preconditioner for heavy traffic. I called to inquire and he was walking his dog and I tried to speak to him and he would cut me off and say he would just give me the $25. As a customer service rep if you are trying to speak to someone and explain what he was offering it seems as to me he only heard numbers and did not understand anything tech was trying to explain. We did nothing wrong I feel their was a misunderstanding. I also told him that and he said I don't need to understand what he was offering and i even told him I feel he misunderstood what tech was trying to say. When I told him he offered him a different price he never denied it. So not sure what the real issue was other than a misunderstanding. MelissaReview from Cassie S

UNprofessional clean would be a better name. Does not honor coupons they advertise, charge you for upgrades without even explaining it to you, force you to pay BEFORE service is provided because as you can tell by every review on her and yelp he literally does nothing to clean and leaves in 20 minutes. When we called for an explaination as to why the carpets were not clean and it smelled and we paid over the coupon amount for less rooms, we got screamed at by some hot head named ***. Apparently thats the owner which is very concerning. Charge was disputed for me by credit card company and was told to report him to BBB.Review from Christopher W

Very unprofessional. *** was talking to me while scrolling on his cell phone. ***** unlimited vents, BS! Small 3 bdrm 1 ba house he said it would be over ****** to clean ducts. He said he could do it now, I asked him where is the equipment and he said in his little 2 door car. I said you dont have a truck with vac system and he said its just a vacuum canister. WTF With 3 bdrm and family rm carpet cleaning would be ****** plus total. I gladly paid him his ***** show up fee and sent him on his way. Dont waste your time Very unprofessional and **** knows your s*** wont be done right with this co. Call ******* or **** for you carpet or duct needs.Professional Clean Carpets and Vents Response

*****, I believe you **** he landlord bc I booked your appointment. I explained to you that the $59 included the heating and ac vents if you have one thermostat, I also explained to you that you get 1 cold air return and any additional cold air return would be $25 for each one. The coupon also states main lines are priced separately. so $300 for your unit is not anything crazy for a full system flush. Our coupon also states regarding travel charge if no service is being provided. Sorry you were disappointed. The owner who was at your house said you were only looking for an estimate and it appeared you were not ready. Not really sure waht the issue is with your vulgarity. ******* charges $425 starting rate with their coupon and I have heard **** has some high prices. We use a brush and vac system also a feeder us used with a compressor so Im sure the owner didnt tell you all we use is a "vaccuum canister" that you are calling it. Have a good day. Absolutely horrible. Should have known service would be bad when I called and scheduled. The lady was so rude and sharp. They were supposed to arrive between 9-11. He showed up in a small car at 1105-no biggie, 5 minutes. He went around to all my rooms (4 bedrooms, hallway, living room, dining room, and area rug. I didn’t watch him do the job. I figured for the $600 he was charging, he would do a good job. Boy was I wrong. He literally sprayed water on my carpet and never went back over to suck up the water. So now my dirty carpet was like having mud on it. Worse than what we started with. I am pretty sure they rented the machine from Home Depot or something. My house felt so gross after he left. I kept noticing an odor the next day and it was my carpet. Dirty wet socks. Ugh. So two days after they did their work, I shampooed it all again with my home machine. It was so bad. The water was black. I don’t know if he is lazy or just really does not know what he’s doing. Literally just one pass on my carpet to spray the water. He was out of my house before 12. So all those rooms, less than one hour. I had a coupon from valuepak, which he did not give me that price. Not sure who individual is not sharing information what day appt was and never called to complain? We do not rent machines they are commercial grade portables. If there was an issure you would have hoped they would have called so we can rectify the situation. Melissa.Review from Elizabeth B

Very poor job and charged me $20” for one room of carpeting! When I asked *** to come out and reclean the very obvious spots on my rug he sprayed some “rug brighter” and left. When I sent pictures of areas with dirty spots he actually said “what do you want me to do? I cleaned it”. I have since removed most of the stains myself..on my hands & knees with a bad back!Review from Y. G.

I had the same experience as ************** I had the $59 coupon for air duct cleaning but when they came they said the can only do it as part of a bigger package, so I declined. They then said I had to pay a $25 travel fee. I didn't feel comfortable with the guy in my house so I gave him my credit card but told him that I would dispute it, which I did. I called them afterward and they just lied and screamed at me. They told me they have in the contract which I signed that if I dispute the charge, they can charge me $50. Good Morning, No one screamed at you. Bigger package? Not sure what that means. I spoke to you and explained to you that you could have picked and chose on what to do. We could have done the coupon for you as well. I was explaining to you that no where on our coupon does it say its a free estimate but it does say on there regarding a traveling charge of $25 for traveling fee if no work is being done. Everything is on coupon on what we offer. I had asked you over the phone why would you paty travel charge and then wait for individual to leave and call half hour later to lodge your complaint and tell me that if you don't take travel charge off of my credit card you will call to dispute and I told you specifically if you feel the need to dispute go ahead and please be aware what receipt says on any returned item there is a $25 returned fee. Just stating what the receipt says so there are no surprises. He gave you a $189 price for vents and supply main to get cleaned out. Have a good day.Customer Response

The lies continue. I told the person who came to my house when he was there that if he charges the card I will dispute it, which I did. I called them afterward thinking the supervisor would work it out, but she was even worse. They did not allow me to do the $59 coupon to clean the ducts until the main, rather they said they can just clean the vents which is useless. Lies. I spoke to you and I recall also speaking to you about the estimate sheet that you were not willing to acknowledge. We explained to you regarding your vent covers and the way that they were put on that the tech was explaining to you that you would need to sign for us to do the coupon for $59 because of the situation on how the vents were put on and you were not willing to do that. Beware of this company! They draw you in with a coupon in ValPak and make you believe you will be spending one price, but charge you much more and then make you feel uncomfortable when you ask if the coupon was taken into consideration. Our carpet are in good condition, no pets and had one stain I pointed out and wanted to maintain small traffic area and 7 steps to the basement. I had our sofa cleaned to maintain and one spot. Both spots were still there after they were "cleaned" which I was told was as best as it could be cleaned. I remove both myself with a rag and Resolve cleaner. Carpets and couch looked no different after they left, they were just wet.I am irritated I did look for reviews before handing over $437 for my 400 sq. ft. of carpet and a couch. I would have seen what a mistake I was making. Hoping this review might save someone else the buyers remorse that I have. Thanks for the feedback. ***************, correct you had 400 sq ft of carpeting in your house and you had heavy soiling so for the carpets just for cleaning and the steps was $100 plus the $80 for precondition and your steps were $42. That was $222 total and ******** for a basic steam clean was $55 you may needed a different service if you have any soil on upholstery. So the cleaning was $277 the other part of your **** you could have certainly say no to teflon protection or sanitizer which totaled an additional $160. Those certainly are optional services. WE do give you a full estimate before we do any services and you could have just chosen what you wanted. You mention 2 spots if you had told us that we would have certainly came out for no charge and re clean the areas you were talking about. When calling us to speak about the **** you could have brought this to our attention. We do not recommend resolve products over the counter if not extracted properly will tend to set in the carpeting. Sorry you were so dissatisfied. ********Customer Response

Your defensive response to my complaint shows the lack of concern or care to make sure your customers are satisfied with your work. In looking at other reviews of your company, I see a string of similar complaints and the same unwillingness to help response. You could actually get repeat business and referrals if you took care of your customers instead of berating them when they are not satisfied. I could list all of my counter points to your rude response and incorrect information about the situation, but don't want to waste anymore time on this. Professional Clean Carpets and Vents is not professional and you do not understand customer service. Astonishing how you stay in business. I have a commercial property that was going to consider using you to clean, but after this experience I used Coit Cleaning. This company that blew you away in pricing, professionalism and excellent customer service. ***************, In our statement above I did offer to come back out to re clean if needed. I basically went over the itemized bill so you understood the breakdown. In your statement above you stated, " I remove both myself with a rag and Resolve cleaner. " And all I said we do not recommend that product and then you say at the end you state, "next time doing it myself. So now you called another company to clean again, when we would of not charged you? Not sure what this was all about then. You keep on talking about the pricing in both of your comments to me that seem you may have buyers remorse.. We do apologize that you weren't satisfied and we did offer to come back to take care of your issues. But you never called to have us come back out. You just admit that this is buyers remorse and all you want is money back. On our coupon states that if you do not do any work there is a $25 travel charge you could have certainly done that instead of doing the work. I can certainly send you the estimate sheet with your signature on it before we started work and estimate is an estimate DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO DO THAT WORK. We also have the pricing of all these services on our coupon which states ALSO AVAILABLE: with pricing for any other service you choose to have, if any. Customers decision not ours its your house. And my apologies I misread your above second response You only used resolve at your house, and you used COIT for your business. Amazing that you would not take an offer of a company come back at no charge to reclean if needed. And will not have the he/she said conversation of what he said to you the cleaning would of costed.
