This company sent people out twice to complete the work, yet the work on our chimney was not completed. Since we paid quite a substantial amount for the woy, we asked them to come again and they not only refused, I was reprimanded with a raised voice. Stay clear of this establishment. Once they have your money, they farm out the work, and do not care about customer satisfaction.

We are sorry that you feel your expectations were not meet with our company. The work on your chimney was completed properly and we did our best to accommodate your schedule which included working on a weekend to complete the work. Yes, we are a general contractor and we do use subcontractors (which is a fact we never hide). However, your work was completed by one of our employees. We sent pictures to you of the work that was completed so you would be able to view it (knowing you could not see the work on the roof/chimney). We addressed your concerns and responded to each one of your phone calls and emails. Voices were never raised, however we did address with you the fact that you made our front receptionist cry because of the nasty way you to yelled and spoke to her.Customer Response

The lies continue. Chris even admitted to yelling at me when he called me. This company had a year to rectify our issues, yet opted to continue blaming me. No worries - we are moving forward to correct that which you did not complete (I have documentation in emails and copy of the handwritten letter to Bob himself requesting the incomplete work be checked). Another roofing company and the mason we had work on our chimney also have documentation of the he poor work done by RA Kalfas. My husband, the new roofer, mason, and I will all be sharing our inadequate experience with RA Kalfas to as many people as we can reach.Review from David U

We recently had R.A. Kalfas remodel our kitchen after having worked on our bathroom several years ago. I can't speak highly enough of the craftsmanship and how great they are to work with. Chris Gibson was amazing as we got started. He listened to our design ideas, made suggestions without ever being pushy, and was open and honest about timing and cost. We really enjoyed their use of a portal called BuilderTrend which allowed us to interact easily with the Kalfas team, understand who would be at our place on a given day and what they'd be doing. It also allowed us to keep track of invoices, change orders, and provided a convenient way to make payments. Everyone that was in our home was polite, knowledgeable, and respected our space and property. They recommended amazing vendors for cabinets, flooring, and tile that helped us make our vision become reality. I highly recommend R. A. Kalfas for any remodeling or construction need you may have.R A Kalfas Construction Response

The entire project was handled very well, any problems during the project were also handled very fast and resolved quickly. The staff in their office were always quick to respond to our questions and get us the answers we needed and a call back to any questions we had. Working with Jackie in the office, Chris Gibson, and all of the workers involved (Jay, Mark, Jerry, Josh and the electricians, heating and air conditioning, plumber was very pleasant.
