            On June 6th 2024, I attended a grand opening event for iBeauty in which they promoted their new business and services. I spoke with several staff members regarding a skin resurfacing procedure called NeoGen. During the event, I later received a brief consultation from the owner Dr. I (*******), where he disclosed he could aid in the dramatic improvement of my skin, texture, and tone with such service. I then purchased a package of two treatments and scheduled my first procedure for June 10th 2024. Upon arrival I was provided numbing cream, applied to my entire face and neck about an hour before the treatment. Once Dr. I began my treatment, I felt extreme pain and discomfort in areas he passed the laser over my face multiple times. He reassured me that my experience was typical and further reinforced the promise of dramatic and ideal results. Days to weeks following the treatment, I communicated to several staff via text, as well as verbally, that I was concerned about the nature of my healing, as I had multiple areas of uneven texture (primarily around the perimeter of my face), hypopigmentation, and hyperpigmentation. Staff, as well as Dr. I, often attributed my slow healing to my skin type and didn’t seem to be willing to offer much help outside of recommending the use of bleaching cream (hydroquinone). To date, the multiple areas of concern on my face remain, and I truly feel I was not handled with proper care. My skin overall appears worse than before this treatment and I would greatly appreciate receiving my money back and never going to the business again.
