Important information
- Additional Info:This business has alerted BBB about two different scams using their name. The following describes the scams targeting consumers in the area:
1.) Someone is operating a secret shopper scam and issuing fraudulent cashier checks that appear to be coming from this Credit Union. The real Directions Credit Union is not sending cashier checks for a secret shopping/mystery shopper job offer. The cashier checks are fraudulent.
2.) Consumers report getting a text message to call Directions Credit Union Help Desk by dialing 419-719-5425. After dialing the number, consumers are told that there was a problem with their bank account and the problem has been fixed; but are told to input their account number to reactivate it. By following the scammer's instructions, consumers have provided bank account information that can be used by the scammer. Directions Credit Union is warning people they are not sending these text messages.
