I went tto ******************** *********** on 09-25-23 wanting to seed a. oral surrgon. I was told I must have X-Rays and dental exam first. I saw Dr. ***** for the exam and Xray interpretation. There is prominent sign in the lobby that says. Xrays and exam. $49 for patients without insurance.. A similar sign is on their Aspen.com website. I had exhausted my dental benefits early in 2023 thru UnitedHealth but they sent it in anyway and it was denied. Though I was told Supervisor ******* would call me on 09-28-2023. He never did. Then around Mar. 1 I received a bill for $247.. I callled the billing office who referred me back. to ********************* ***********. No one was available to discuss it. I sent them a detailed letter around March 15 to summarize the whole story with my name,*************************************, email coshocton1965@ gmail.com, Based on the evidence sited here I feel my bill should be $49. *************************************Review from Joe S

I have now TWICE, called them and set an appointment, once for my wife. For an out of pocket cash tooth extraction, they set an appointment for the following day. Got to the location, waited for 20 minutes, and then the lady says we are not scheduled the call center must have made a mistake (while my wife is in misery and crying right in their lobby) and turned us away....Yesterday, I call their phone number, set an appointment and tell them my insurance, which they explained they will try to work with it, but said " come in get a free exam, and we will see what we can do" I went in, gave them my information, and the girl at the desk said " I'm sorry we don't take that insurance and can't help you. I replied, well I know about the insurance the guy I talked with said come in get a free exam and you will see what you can do with the insurance... She simply replied snobby, we don't take this insurance and looked off at her computer ignoring me. This is twice they blame the call center, but yet I am told one thing, and get tossed out without explanation or care that I drove there now TWICE to get nothing for two people in need of dental services. Worst customer service interaction I have ever seen in a professional business.Review from Hesse S

I do believe this place is a scam and a fraud. I use this place because TRICARE only covers certain places. My first appt I waited 2 hrs and I have to leave because I have work. 2nd appt waited more than 2 hrs and only get consultation. 3 appt have to cancel because they cancel it without notifying me. I got the motto aligners and paid a lot of money and my teeth still crooked. I went to pick up retainer and I waited 1 hour or more and guess what? They told me they dont have it. Why would you make an appt for me to pick up and its not even there. I called 10/26/2023 at 12 pm, if I can get a replacement for retainer because I broke it accidentally and I want to know how much it will cost. The guy told me he will call back and its 7 pm and no called back. If I can give them 0 star I would. Communication is very bad and they just like to prey on people whos in desperation to fix their teeth. I regret going this place. They waste my time, money, and gas.Review from Alicia B

The Office in Toledo are deceptive in the care of there patients starting with the Dentist. Be careful of her recommendations because it’s about money whether you can afford it or not. The Corporate Office doesn’t even care about the integrity of the Aspen Dental name, as long as they are making money. The Dentist and the staff have deceptive tactics that they are all aware of and they think the Patients are ignorant. Somebody should really take time to look at the Talmadge Rd Office and all the Unethical, Unprofessional and Unnecessary recommendations that they suggest to there patients for more money. This Office has fraudulent tactics and should be looked at by the Dental Committee of Ohio.
