I bought $100,000 4-year-old Mercedes sprinter RV. I was assured that everything would work perfectly when I picked it up but I decided to buy a 2-year bumper-to-bumper warranty anyway. Since purchasing the RV and innumerable amount of things were discovered not to be working. The air conditioner wouldn't run, the generator wouldn't run, the stove top didn't work the DVD Blu-ray player didn't work, the inverter was bad, and several other issues. I returned it and they replaced the coach batteries and wired them in correctly. The unit still would not hold a charge so I had to return it a second time. I've now owned it for 2 months and had possession of it for freed or 4 days. I've gone to pick it up again today and after telling me the entire thing was ready it shut down 30 seconds into the walk-through. At this point I have two assume they are unable to fix it but will not return it or undo the sale. I want the ownership of this dealership to contact me personally. I'm completely finished dealing with the dealership itself.Review from MARIE F

We purchased our camper through **** ********. In doing that we also purchased insurance and extended warranties for our camper. When campers Inn of Troy decided to purchase Arbogast, they were supposed to honor those contracts, agreements and warranties. When we ended up having a problem, they basically told us our warranty was crap and they weren’t going to honor it and that we needed to buy new warranties through them. When we made a fuss they said they would try turning it in through the warranty company we already had. We took it in because the back wheel was locking up. They kept our camper for four months we continually called them. They never seemed to know what our camper was there for. We were not a priority. They repeatedly told us it was not ready every time we called and this went on for the whole four months. We finally made a fuss about how long they had it. The guy puts us on hold and comes back on the phone and tells us to come and get it, it is ready. We go up there they tell us the only thing that was covered was the seal around the slide, which is not why it was there. They charged us $250.00 We go to hook it up to our truck they had rummaged through everything stored underneath the camper. We could not find our snap up lever to put our hitch on. We manage to find a crow bar and get the hitch on. We get up on the highway and the wheels locked up. So we drove back down our tires are smoking because the wheel is locked up. We go in and ask to speak with the manager. They had no idea what the camper had been in for. They never test drove it to see what we were talking about with the wheel. They kept our trailer for another two months. We had to keep calling them . They call and tell us it’s fixed we come and pick it up. They did not fix it. They told us the control box needs to be replaced it is not covered and it is going to cost $300.00 more. My husband said he could do that himself. They took the snap up lever, they would not give it back.Review from Rebecca s

We purchased an Airstream from campers inn about two weeks ago. We have not camped in this used airstream yet but my husband cleaned and walbernizing the unit found a pile of broken glass and a window not properly in the tracks. This window had clearly been broken and replaced by the previous owners and was left a mess with water leaking down to the floor. We also found out that they did not clean out the tanks. My husband had to clean out another persons fesces from the gray and black water tanks. The store is refusing to take care of this and the broken glass could have injured one of my children or dogs. Unacceptable behavior from a "family owned business".Review from Brittni M

The only reason i am giving this place one star is because the finance guy was amazing! We recently purchased a camper from here and upon leaving had a big problem. At first they were more than helpful with us fixed the problem even had the camper delivered back to us in less than a week. If only it stopped there! Before the camper was returned we recieved a call about the glass stove cover being in. We didnt order one apparently ours got messed up when they were fixing the first mistake. Upon receiving the camper we were so excited to test it out in the driveway!! Went to set up the table guess what it doesn't match up so we can't actually set it up, go to take a look at the glass stove cover and notice a huge gash in the counter right by it that wasn't there before. So we decided to really look over the camper ( we had asked the sales manager to do this and he said he did) we find missing screws in the bunk bed, the ladder wasn't nailed properly into the stud, the drawers were not put in correctly or even straight and the cover for the speaker was torn and there was a gash in the plastic. O we are also missing a cover on the outside wheel that keeps grease in. We call them they tell us to email pictures to our sales man. We do as asked. So now we are getting the run around that they need to contact warranty and see if they will cover it. Not sure why some of this is a warranty problem considering some things weren't damaged or missing when we purchased it. They want us to bring the camper back to them(almost a 2 hour drive) and leave it there so they can take pictures and send in to warranty and possibly "fix" the brand new counter top instead of replacing it. We get a different person everytime we call! There is no communication at this place because noone knows what's going on. Now we have spoken to the gm and he is saying its the service managers problem and we will need to wait for his call. We can't even book a camping trip with our new camper!Campers Inn RV of Troy Response

We had spoken with the consumers husband on multiple occasions, we don't know who she was calling because we have no record of her calling in or speaking with anyone. The service manager finally contacted her, and attempted to resolve her issue. The grand majority of her complaints are normal RV manufacturer defects, and she is not understanding that we are not the manufacturer, and have no control over how they are built or how they come out of the factory, we have offer to turn her complaints in under warranty to the manufacturer. Filing claims with the BBB does not pressure us to do anything different, as we follow the process the manufacturers have put in place.Campers Inn RV of Troy Response

In addition, none of her complaints are keeping her from using the trailer and going camping, even the center cap on her wheel (that she claims keep the grease in) is nothing but a decorative piece that flies off all of the time in transit on many trailers.Review from Douglas J

Trailer service department is incompetent and dishonest. Customers beware they do not care about customers or customer service. I took my trailer there for repairs and not only did they not know what the factory warranty was for trailers they sell they came back to me and said I needed to pay $2300 to install a new furnace. I called the manufacturer and was informed to not pay it because it was under warranty. When I told Dave Arbogast this they fixed the fan in the furnace and never did replace the furnace?? That is what I told them the problem was in the first place! I brought it home and tested it and the furnace did not work. After this I was not letting them touch my trailer again. I then took it to another dealer where I was informed Dave Arbogast wired it wrong and they refused to pay for the repairs. I even was given pictures from the dealer to prove that it was wired wrong. They denied all responsibilty. Buyer beware!!! these people do not know what they are doing and could care less about you as a customer. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. SO unprofessional it is ridiculous they are still in business.
