Hired ***** English owner of English and Son LLC to do work on my chiropractic business the original estimate for the work was ***** and was supposed to be done over the course of 3 days it has been months the job wasn't finished nor was it done properly. He charged me for masonry work that wasn't finished or done properly. Also redid my back steps which were not done right at all. He spilled paint and chemicals all over my parking lot and sidewalks that left stains. The painting was not done correctly and there is over spray all over the new roof another contractor just did. it has been over 3 months the work is not done and at this point I'm up to $13,289.75 and the work isn't finished. He had Murals I paid artists to do that he was supposed to hang up, he withheld them from me and asked for another ***** to hang them. I'm at an absolute loss here any information and help would be appreciated

This man asked me to do work for him during one of my chiropractic visits to his facility. He was presented a contract and we discussed how much work he wanted done to reach his desired outcome. Each stage in this whole process was checked by him personally and signed off for before going to the next. No complaints or concerns were ever given at these times. The customer received everything that he was wanting done and able to provide payment for. The only issue began when 2 of the other workers quit and being able to hang some murals on his building alone was not possible. He was told about the situation and told about his options. He decided to wait and see if new workers could be found to assist in the heavy lifting of murals. No payments were made for this service, and I had to store his materials in my space. Nothing was ever held from him or unable to pick up if he wanted the materials/items. He had a worker of his chiropractic business start writing false statements and reviews online, and yes there is a voicemail between the two stating the work was all done properly to his requests and then he proceeded to try having a criminal case filed against me but was shut down. He still wanted me to hang the murals and said he found someone that would  assist with the heavy lifting. I told him I would rather go separate ways honestly after the actions himself and his associates were doing but I would show up and give him a contract for that portion. I made him read the invoice and he decided not to want to pay at that point. (He already said on the phone he wasnt going to pay me for the services) so he finally said no thank you, he would rather just part ways and call it square between us. I agreed and told him I didnt appreciate the slander he was having his employees say online to try and damage my business and left. There is going to be action taken on the slander/defamation, and Im not sure how much I can say to that on here. I dont know what else to do with them when they were already agreed all work that was paid for was done and up to his standards.
