Got a loan from Lendmark in Cambridge Ohio for 10,000 for this car on 10/28/22. The car needed a driveshaft, a backup camera and fuse box. They put all that in the paperwork before I drove the car off the lot. Fuse box was fixed on 11/2/22. Backup camera was fixed on 11/4/22. Car was dropped off on 11/9/22 for the drive shaft to be fixed. On or Around 11/17/22 the driveshaft went out again and was worse than before they fixed it. Contacted ***** and dropped the car back off. He ordered the part but it was taking longer than expected so he did something to it to stop the shaking until the part came in. On 11/24/22 at 11:30 pm the car caught fire on the highway. I made a police report, the report number is 45-0696. I texted ***** as soon as it happened and he told me to have it towed to his shop and he would figure out what was going on. 11/28/22 I talked to him and he told me the motor blew up. He said he paid for a new one and was going to put it in without discussing it with me first. Then tells me I’m going to have to pay out my pocket for the motor and labor. We haven’t agreed on anything. It is now 12/13/22 and I still don’t have a vehicle and have lost my job because of these car troubles.

    Hello,

I have attached all signed contracts from Mr. ****** regarding purchase of used motor vehicle. Signed Purchase Agreement, signed vehicle buyers guide, signed As Is Statement, signed waiver of service contract, signed We Owe form with what was promised repairs and done after sale of vehicle.

The vehicle drove perfectly fine in our possession, as well on Mr ******'s initial test drive prior to purchase. We have no way of knowing how Mr. ****** drove this vehicle after he took ownership, but our clue is that he's blown up several vehicles in past (as he stated) driving them abusively like a hot rod. Also vehicle Lemon Law applies to NEW vehicles only under manufacturer warranty. You must purchase an extended service contract to receive any type of warranty on a used vehicle. Mr. ****** declined to do so on the wavier of service contract. We assume no responsibility for his vehicle per these signed documents.

    regards.
