serv.date 4/1/24.cancel fee ($50) pd.on 4/2/24. after initial visit was told I needed to pay $218.60 to get the root canal done and a cleaning. And that insurance would cover the rest. Dbl. checked all I had to pay was the 218.60.Pd on 4/1/24. **** informed me that that was what I needed to pay to do a cleaning and a root canal with a temp cap on my tooth. They told me they were not sure what else they were going to do until they had me "numbed up". I agreed to a cleaning and a root canal ONLY. They agreed and began drilling on my teeth on 4/1. After numbing and after drilling into my teeth and cleaning only part of my teeth, they STOPPED and told me it could be finished at a different appointment. The office manager ******* told me I could come back and finish the root canal and the 2nd half of my cleaning when I brought them $2000.00. They were HIGHLY upset and got very angry and hateful when I refused to let them pressure me into taking out their loans and payment plans. (I later found out the tooth was crushable and without support).I was not able to eat anything at all until 4/5/24 after I had to go to a reputable dentist to repair damage done by BEAM DENTAL and to actually perform the needed root canal. **** also drilled into the tooth behind the one that should have had a root canal and inserted soft puddy filler. This was not agreed to. It was found and had to be repaired as well. The team at my new dental provider was SHOCKED AND APPALLED at the damage left by BEAM. My Insurance said BEAM had billed and been pd $678.40 by DeltaDentalOK.org. **** called and were VERY angry that I was not coming back with the $2000. I refused any more appts. Now they are wanting additional pmt of $200. No other servs have been provided and I already pd the cancel fee. They left me at their mercy unable to eat at all. They have only made harassing calls, text, and email. Act#EFT/check#******* per delta dental I want the account zeroed and a zero balance sent to me.

H3**93338343734363436H is disappointed you did not have the experience that is up to our standard. We strive to be as thorough and clear on the treatment plan as possible. We believe there has been miscommunication but please allow us to clear up this discrepancy. During your initial appointment in which we diagnosed all your treatments and established a plan, we explained that there is a tooth on the left side that possibly needs a root canal. The tooth on the left had a deep cavity and it is very close to the nerve, and if the cavity went into the nerve the only way to save the tooth was by doing a root canal. The doctor explained in detail that there is a chance we can fix this tooth without a root canal, but we wont know until we clean out all the decay. However, when the doctor cleaned out the tooth it was determined the decay was indeed in the nerve and so a root canal was performed and completed. Often the doctor brings a patient back for a 2nd appointment to do the crown after the root canal is completed to ensure the root canal is successful and the patient is no longer in pain. We dont want to put a crown on a tooth if its still hurting. We placed a temporary filling material until you came back for the crown within 1-3 weeks after the root canal, as this is standard practice, and we always tell our patients to avoid eating on the side of the root canal for 2-3 weeks to allow the tooth to heal. As far as the cleaning is concerned, the doctor recommended a deep cleaning to be done, as there is heavy calculus and build up underneath the gum that needs to be removed. Deep cleaning is always done in two separate appointments because we must numb the area to be cleaned and we do one side at a time. To save you an appointment and avoid having to numb your mouth again we started and finished deep cleaning your mouth on the left side the same day as the root canal. After which we wanted to schedule another appointment to finish the deep cleaning on the right side. We understand insurance can be very difficult to understand and comprehend what it covers and how much it covers. As a courtesy to our patients, we take the time to call and figure out what insurance will pay. Insurance themselves only gives our office an estimate of what they will pay. Please feel free to call our office to go over your concerns. We would be more than happy to set up a free consultation with the doctor to go over the treatment that was done and to reassure you that no damage was done, and everything completed was done accordingly. Your health and satisfaction are of high priority, and we want to provide the best service possible. We also attached a photo of the tooth we worked on and the tooth behind it. This picture was taken prior to doing any work in your mouth. As you can see the tooth behind #** (root canal tooth) there is a large void/decay that needed work done as well. On the x-ray you can see the large decay on #**/pre molar tooth that went into the nerve. Again the doctor will be more then happy to go over these images to explain what was done.

I am rejecting this response because:    As seen in my attached x -ray taken a few days AFTER BEAM dental claims to have done a root canal; the procedure was NOT completed by BEAM. In fact, after not one, but TWO certified dental professionals and the dentist who actually had to undo BEAMs' damage confirmed that the full roots were still there. My current dental team was SHOCKED and APPALLED at the horrid condition BEAM left my teeth in. They then confirmed that BEAM DID NOT do a root canal at all.  On top of that my insurance company knows that BEAM DID NOT DO A ROOT CANAL. **** damaged several teeth and then put extra filler material into places that were not agreed upon. All of the damage had to fix fixed and then the original work had to be completed costing thousands of dollars. Upon further investigation, I found that there are in fact many people who have complaints against the practice methods employed by BEAM dental. And the responses that many people have been getting when raising concerns is as rude and condescending and unprofessional as the response I just received. Offensive no matter the culture or background.   I have tried as I stated before to contact the office and have  received nothing but rude, hateful, unprofessional belittling responses. Your business practice to leave the people who come to you in pain financially obligated to be damaged and dependent on your whim is appalling and unprofessional to a degree that I thought were horror stories from the ********. **** has once again made yet another attempt to belittle my intelligence here on paper just like their staff do in person. I agreed to a cash copay and the price for ONLY TWO items one of which WAS NOT COMPLETED. Normal American dentistry tells you up front about the cash payment and insurance payment for only and exactly what is to be completed at time. **** made a point to say that he wanted to decide after I was under the effects of local anesthesia what he wanted. Even after I had already made a point to agree only to two things and then he left me unable to sustain basic needed function (eating) and demanded several thousand dollars to continue any type of dental treatment at all. As it turns out, there are many people in the community that have had similar experiences with BEAM. That seems to be a con artist with a dentist degree. I told them I only had the original amount and they agreed to the original payment plus insurance payment for the work. Instead I keep receiving more payment demands. I can in fact understand the English language and all BEAM seems to want to do is belittle and degraded my intelligence.  I am hoping that BEAM will come to their senses and for once do the morally correct thing here. And that is to remove any balance on  my account and cease their efforts to insult my intelligence.
