Bought a 2016 ***** Cruze car 7/31/2024 paid $5000 for it and took it in to have things checked out and mechanic said that the wheel hub assembly, O2 sensor, and soon to be motor will be going out in the car. I bought the car at Longs Auto Sales in ********* Oklahoma and was promised that everything worked and was functioning on the car as it should be. I've made contact with the used dealership and they will not let me bring the car back, exchange it, and or definitely not give my money back or even help with the very necessary repairs that are needed. I do not have the extra money to hire an attorney for this matter. I'm out of pocket $5000+ for the car and now repairs and tag/title for this junk car. This car dealership is a COMPLETE scam and a JOKE and I recommend not anybody go to this place! The guy who runs/owns this place is an old scam artist along with his younger wife and they obviously don't care about their customers and or single mothers with children because they don't mind selling junk to someone to make a quick ***** My heart is totally torn up over this matter and I saved my money to buy a decent reliable vehicle for myself and my daughter and to get what's nothing but scrap metal. I by no means am mechanically inclined but I should of suspected that some sorry suckers would pull the wool over my eyes just to take my money. I bought this car to get my daughter back and forth to and from school and band practices and also to get me to my doctors appointments as my health isn't the greatest. Guess I'll know next time to just get a vehicle with some type of warranty, don't go to rathole car dealerships, especially not people who own it look like they've had a druggie life, and will definitely be paying more and better attention to things and do a car fax on any car I'm to consider purchasing. I give this place zero stars and I'm going to continue to spread the word on social media about this place and telling folks to never go to this screwy place.

    Business response

When purchasing the car on 7-31-2024 Ms. ***** was allowed to test drive the vehicle we told her it was a repo and the only problem we were aware of was the o2 sensor, her and her father test drove the vehicle and loved it. Ms. ***** did not call us about anything being wrong with the car until 8-13-2024 and it was her father who called and informed us of the issues, the next day 8-14-2024 Ms. *********** sent emails to us stating she was taking us to court and would post on ******** that we are a crooked business. We informed her that she test drove the car before purchase then drove it home from mcalester oklahoma to *********************** which is 49 miles even after driving home we still did not hear any complaint till two weeks after the sale.Which the bill of sale states no refunds or exchanges. We would have been willing to help if we were notified a day or two after sale but not two weeks after the cash sale. Ms. ***** has trashed our business on social media and even to her complaint continues to make false accusations about the employees and the owner.

If you need anything else from us you may contact us at ********************************************

    thank you

    Customer response

    08/19/2024

I am rejecting this response because:   NO we absolutely DID NOT know the car was a repo nor did we know that the car had been wrecked and or had a rebuilt title nor had previous and or current troubles with this car mechanically that Long's Auto Sale sold to me and my senior citizen father.....who bought the car. Both me and my dad both called the assistant and the owner numerous times and finally my dad gets in touch with the "assistant" at Long's Auto Sales and assured us our title was coming in the mail and my dad told her what was all wrong with this car that our local trusted mechanics looked over. I live in an extremely small area with only two mechanic shops so it's hard to get in to get things checked out on things with living in such a small area and few businesses. I've current had to put this vehicle in the shop which cost $900 in repairs and still isn't completely fixed. I've had people personally reach out to me after I got this car and had to put it in the shop tell me that Long's Auto Sales Dealership is a sham scam outfit and that they do folks wrong and have had to take them to court over many things. Matter of fact I had a lady that bought my same car and at the same place (Long's Auto Sales) and tell me that the dealership very well knew that the car had problems and that she was making payments on the car and had to put it in the shop for $1000 in repairs and ended up taking it back to the dealership because she was already out of pocket for the very same car I have now. My dad and I weren't even told of the o2 sensor that this dealership is claiming to of "informed" us about.....the only way we found out this car was wrecked and had a rebuilt title was because my trusted mechanic looked things over extremely well and told me, otherwise I wouldn't have even known until my car title came in the mail. I will continue to tell buyers beware of this place because this place VERY well knew that they are in the wrong with how they sold my dad who's a senior citizen that's trying to help his only daughter and granddaughter have a safe vehicle. I could have had an accident in this car with my daughter due to a piece of junk wheel hub assembly on the car at any time before I put it in the shop. I guess people that are only in business strictly for money do not have any conscious whatsoever because how can someone look at a single mother, a senior citizen, and a child in the face and be alright with selling a piece of junk to good people just trying to have better in life.
