    Do not use Hill and Company.We had used them for over 5 years regularly until our last heater service where we had a bad experience with the tech. Decided to try another company so recently had them **me out where they dis**vered major issues that had been going on with the systems that hill and ** never **mmunicated. The new company showed us pictures of the rust, mold and build up on the systems that had never been **mmunicated. These issues did not happen overnight and we religiously had the system serviced. So glad we decided to switch and gain a company that cares.

    Through the years, we have had 2 heat pumps, ducting moved from floor to attic and a hot water heater all installed by this company. We've also had their yearly service contracts. Recently, after having one of the new heat pumps installed, our breakers to the unit keep flipping off. We called, a technician came out, and said basically everything that was their responsibility was in working order and we possibly needed an electrician. The technician gave us the name of an electrician with whom she was familiar. (Of course when the technician was here the breakers never flipped off!) When we had the hot water heater installed there was an electrician on site so why couldn't the technician have contacted an electrician to come to our house to see what needed to be done? We feel they basically just left us hanging. We had always been very happy with them as evidenced by all the business we have given them but our opinion has dramatically changed, especially since we are sitting with no working air conditioning in this heat wave! They were happy to sell us something but it seems the customer care is sorely lacking even after our city inspector did not approve our installation. Be careful who you hire.

    We are so disappointed we didn't meet our customer's expectations. Delivering an exceptional customer experience is our number one priority. Unfortunately, we are not licensed electricians, so we have to refer customers with electrical issues to a licensed electrician. As soon as we became aware that there was an issue with the system, we dispatched a technician. The technician determined it was an electrical issue and referred the customer to a licensed electrician our customers have had very positive experiences with in the past. The customer called the electrician and had the electrical repair made.

    We needed a 20 year-old system replaced in our home. The technician that came out for the initial consult did a very thorough review of our current set-up. I was suspicious that the previous unit was oversized and this was something he picked up on without me even asking. He took the time to explain what upgrades would/could be necessary and we talked through options in a logical way without him just trying to upsale the most expensive unit. I got quotes from about 5 companies but I ended up going with Hill and Company for two reasons. 1. The Trane systems are second to none. 2. I knew that Hill and Company was working to fulfill my A/C needs and not just sell me an a/c unit. The pricing was fair for they product we got and they even installed it the day after we signed the paperwork. We will be needing a couple other units replaced in the next 2 years and I already know who will be replacing those units, Hill and Company.

    I needed a complete flip of my HVAC system and Hill & Company came out and gave me a reasonable bid. When I called them on Friday to accept the bid, they were out that coming Monday to replace my total system. They replaced my AC, furnace and installed all new ductwork, and did it all in a day and a half. That was fast in my opinion, and I was thrilled. They arrived on time, explained everything they were doing, and cleaned up after all work was completed. Everyone, from start to finish, were friendly and professional. The only complaint I have is that no called me afterwards to come out and check my AC unit. Because it was cold they had to wait to test it. They also failed to call to ask how everything was working and how satisfied I was. I think that a follow up call afterwards is just excellent customer service, therefore, thats why I only gave them 4 starts. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Hill and Company for HVAC service, repair and/or replacement needs.
