    I have been a Mathis Brothers customer for many years. The last sales associate we had was very distasteful. A problem occurred with the on-line order. He drugged his feet regarding the matter. When he was confronted his customer service was negative. It appears he refuses to work with us. Terrible. horrible customer service!!

    Do not ever ever purchase the product replacement the salesman lie about the coverage when you have an issue on the internal materials of a product they say its NOT covered.

    I have a $6000 mattress purchased about 18 months ago. I was informed of the ability to basically purchase a warranty by purchasing a cover which we ****** the short time we have had this mattress we noticed as we rotated it that one corner was dipping so we monitored it and then requested a warranty replacement. We were granted the replacement and when the team brought the new mattress they said they found a tear in the underside of the mattress thus voiding the warranty. we moved less than 4 months ago and there was no tear at that point. Regardless this little tear is not any relation or causation to the dipping of the mattress and failure of the mattress structure.Mathis is denying the replacement and voiding the warranty at this point due to the tear.I cant for the life of me understand why they wouldn't cover it especially due to the 10's of thousands I have spent there.I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM THEM AGAIN PERIOD UNLESS THEY HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!Horrible company at this point

    Bought a pillow paid cash however was short $15.35for tax so put on my debit card. The cashier charged $1595.00 onto my debit card . When I called and talked to *****, told me would be 7-10 days to go into my acct. I reminded her this was not my fault. She said 7-10 days nothing she could do. I called the next day, unfortunately ***** was on the phone. She said 7-10 days and they were only giving me $1397.00 since I had an invoice they charge to put back into my acct. I then called back for a manager. He told me he would get back to me. Still waiting.I filed a fraudulent charge to my bank and will let them handle this.The customer service is awful. I will never step foot in their store again ***** *******

    I had purchased a table with Mathis brothers on the *********** location on Black Friday (11/29/24) around 5:00 pm. ********* was our salesman. That evening we werent going to make it to pick up the table since we had somewhere to be and they closed at 7 pm. We opted to pick it up the next morning/ noon Nov 30. How Mathis brothers work is you make an order and you pick it up at their distribution center. When I had called, they claim that my table has already been picked up and they have video footages of someone picking it up. They would not release the footages to me. Red flag. I proceeded to tell them it is not I or my husband. Weve been together this whole time and no one else wouldve known that we had bought it. I asked them if they checked IDs and theyve consistently told me that they dont check IDs when its an in person purchase. Only for online is when they check IDs. Instead they will only require the sales order number. Im extremely frustrated. Ive mention to them several times that it wasnt me but they kept insisting that I had someone else pick it up for me. On top of all this, Ive realized I didnt get an email Reciept of my order either. Its brought up to my attention that it may be an inside employee job where they had given my ticket number out to someone else to pick up. Because looking back on the the day that I purchased its I recover a phone call of how my pick up went. Police and investigations are involved and Mathis brothers wouldnt refund or give me my table for their mistake. They are the one that released my purchase to someone else. Its now Christmas Eve and I still have not heard any updates. Especially when they claim it was I/friend who had picked it up. Im sadden because weve worked with Mathis brothers and been very good customers to them over the years. I dont plan on supporting such a company that will not admit to their faults. I just want to request a refund instead of having to take them to small claims.

    We do apologize for the situation. There are times when it is sufficient to get the customer's name, order number and phone number to verify a purchase. It's not uncommon for someone to have a family member, etc. pick up an item. We have not had a situation like this happen in our 60+ years of being in business. Because there is an accusation of someone representing someone else, it becomes a police issue. We don't share video with anyone, not even employees, except the police. We are cooperating with the police. A chargeback was filed, so we wouldn't be able to refund until the issue is resolved with the police and/or the credit card company. We realize this is a big inconvenience and we do apologize. We are trying to get this resolved asap!

    I bought two electric recliners after have ********************** surgery.3 weeks after getting them one stopped working right. Called warranty department i paid ****** extra for and was told it would be weeks for someone to come out. I waited they order parts at that time said would be 3 weeks to come in an another week for them to come back. Parts came in the ******* them, messed with remote it would work and the next time it would stop working, the guy wiggled the cord said its working now have a Happy Thanksgiving and left. I go to chair to use remote not working called them back & the customer service *** was so rude & dismissive., said she will have tech come back but no he called said they would have to order more parts. so it would take 2 to 4 weeks to get the parts again. No genuine apology. Not even sorry this happened or that I have had a bad experience. The only apology I received was from sales person then I said what am I supposed to do for a month. I can't sit on the chair... his manager ****** call said he was send another tech to look at chair. He came out said the parts they just ***laced would be ordered again. 3 more weeks and another holiday with family unable to use chair after spending ******* on them I'm paying for something I can't even use!! I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN very cheap furniture

    Bought a mattress @ Mathis Brothers that was supposed to be medium firm. And when they delivered the mattress it ends up being a soft mattress. Contacted the store and they said might of been defected. They sent a second mattress even more softer than the first. Contacted the store and asked for them to cancel the mattress due to frustration of the excuses of defective mattress. They ignored my consumer complaint and won’t even return my calls. They tried telling me I have to basically keep the mattress and deal with my concerns and continue paying on a mattress they know is recalled. I feel like they don’t seem to care about consumer complaints and customers rights. I feel like they’re lying about the quality of the mattress on the showroom floor versus the one they send you. They customer complaint concern service isn’t the same customer sales service. How are they gonna force someone to keep an item due to defects and not care about a customer’s complaints. Very poor service and definitely will think twice about future purchases with Mathis Brothers.

    We're sorry that *** ***** is unhappy, but we're not sure what his issue is. From our records, we see he had a motor go out on a power recliner.     One of the worst experiences, we bought a sofa set in 2021, it took a year and wrong pieces were sent on a couple of occasions, eventually getting the set many months later only to have the leather start having discoloration, we file our first claim with no resolution, we then filed another claim in 2024 to again be told that they will not fix it and to contact an outside vendor and pay out of our own pocket, which I can afford as a physician but to be honest, Im done with Mathis brother and their subpar sofa, they sold us a warranty from a fraud company that has refused to fix damages to the **** with discoloration even though its clearly covered in the warranty paperwork. They are selling a scam warranty, I have spent thousands of dollars at their store, Im advising everyone to avoid getting this scam warranty and avoid shopping at Mathis brothers. I m considering legal action to get this resolved as the warranty cost around 600 hundred dollars for an obvious scam.

    When a major store feels its their right to deprive customers handicap parking by allowing Chinese new year groups to park music or equipment in handicap stalls, that ranks a very low rating with me. They claimed, quote. We own the parking lot; therefore, we can deprive handicap individuals of their handicap parking! I took a picture. Does anyone know how often this happens to disabled people? They could have also added special parking for us! Its bad enough that people park in our stalls who have no handicap designation. Just so disappointed in ******* Home lack of integrity and abiding by *** ****! Left sour taste!
