Our now 5 year old ClimateMaster Tranquility 30 worked for about a year and a half before having lockouts while heating. In the first four years of ownership we paid over $5000 for water well and HVAC support to diagnose the issue, to no avail. We kept the machine limping along though, inexplicably having it work again after resting and without knowing why it locks out. This year however the lockouts have been nearly constant. While ClimateMaster has honored the parts warrantee, we have had to pay thousands in additional labor just this year to replace a leaking coil, then a faulty valve, refrigerant, and control board, all to continue not having the machine work properly. ClimateMaster hardly ever answers the phone and if they do they absolutely refuse to allow the owner to speak with anyone that knows how their machines work. Instead we're forced to pay a contractor to make a phone call. We will replace our system with something else this spring and our attorney has been notified to see recourse against ClimateMaster.Review from Behzad N

The tech support at Climate Master doesnt event understand the fundamentals of how HVAC works. The tech support person got all defensive when I caught him saying during heating liquid goes to air handler evaporates, and comes back to compressor. Using lots of sir in the conversation with zero expertise.Review from Ronald B

16 years old. Had problems every year and coils went out. 2 furnace guy said to replace it. 1 was $16500 and the other was $13700. Not a good investment.Review from Melissa Z

We purchased a home that is 6 years old! Compressor burned up, coils are leaking, and possible leaks in the line. Contractor gives the run around continuously. We are having the whole **** unit taken out and going to install a propane tank for heat and a traditional A/C unit. I would never recommend this type of system to anyone. We believe the owners knew and did not disclose it when we purchased the house. Mankind can be so disappointing at times. Heres to spending 15K on a new set up! Cheers
