    This place only wants your money. Plain and simple. I was charged $2,200 for a procedure that another vet charged me $650. (My poor dog has had to have this procedure multiple times this year.) After the procedure, my dog’s symptoms got worse. I called and emailed 4 times over the course of 4 weeks and I didn’t hear anything back from the Doctor or anyone at the office. After writing a very stern email to upper management, I received an email from the Doctor apologizing for the lack of communication. He stated he was on vacation. A simple phone call or email from the staff should have happened. I do not recommend taking your pet to this facility.

    Do not take your animals to the Oklahoma veterinary specialist they only there for the money they do not care about your animals they care about their fancy new building all their shiny new stuff in there that they have to pay for they make you pay up front and if you don't have the money they send you on your way and your dog just has to die these people do not care about anything but their pocketbooks

    I am sorry for your frustrations and the scenario you are going through with Buddy.  He has quite a serious disease process and our doctors have been very thorough in communicating this with you, both verbally and through written discharge instructions and visit summaries.  As a small business that is not subsidized and not reimbursed via insurance, we do charge a fair price for our services.  Our prices are very reasonable and comparable to other emergency and specialty hospitals in the region.  You asked for a written treatment plan, outlining the costs of your visit and were provided this before your Internal Medicine appointment.  During your ER visit in early June you were made aware of our payment policy and knew that payment was due at the time of services at that time.  We also made you aware that we accept a couple of different third party payment options and you were instructed on how you could apply for those.  We do take pride in our facilities, equipment and staff.  We keep our facility clean, equipment serviced and working and we pay our staff a livable wage.  If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly.  Thank you.  Dr Steven ******
