    Recology Ashland has had numerous issues with their account and I have spoke with every level of customer support in their office yet none of them are making any effort to address the issues or provide service. First my account was linked with a different address so I was unable to see or pay my actual bill. Then I made several payments over the past few months which were drafted from my checking account but never applied to my recology account, thus they claimed my bill was owed despite showing them proof of payment. Over the course of three months, ****** was drafted from my checking account and not applied to the balance of my account. I was also double charged for my bill. Due to their issue they have refused to provide service and we have not had trash service for a month. They refuse to acknowledge the problem. Despite sending screen shots and attempting to communicate with supervisor and manager they continue to blame me and take no action to resolve the issue. Recology needs to:- Immediately reinstate trash, recycling and green waste service -Immediately refund the overpayment - Credit for the weeks without service - Provide an account credit of $100 for refusing to address the issue for many weeks, resulting in undue emotional and time burden to my family

    Recology Ashland double charged me my quarterly bill of over $100 on April 2nd of 2024. I called them to ask for a refund for one of the charges, and was told I would receive a cheque in the mail by the beginning of May. It is now June 17th and I have yet to receive any compensation or funds refunded to me. The employees I've spoken with are rude and condescending, I have the calls recorded to prove it.

    Recology Ashland has added a recycling surcharge to every household beginning this month in the amount of $1.64. The issue I take with it has to do with the fact that I do not use their recycling service, as I'm sure is true for many others. Further, some households can not get the recycling service even if they want to. This was the case where I was living a month ago on *********************** in ******. I can understand an increase in their monthly rate but the **** specifically states it's a recycling surcharge; thereby, having a specific use which I do not use and wasn't able to use if I wanted to a month ago. I find to be inequitable, unfair, and perhaps unlawful.
