Hi there BBB, it really sad for me to see these complaint, but it is wat it is, first of all im Willing to go repair what the inspector said i was not replaced, but i do remember replacing all the dry-rot plywood that i saw it was needed to be replaced, but im a human i must of mist those boards, but oh well, like i said, im willing to go fix the plywood, Note This: the main reason i did not answer her, because she did call but i dont have any resent emails from her, so the emails she said she sent me to get a hold of me is a lie, unless she used a different email, it sad for me to see this because she is the WORST customer ive ever worked for, she maid me do other repairs in that house, because she didnt, want to pay me, so i had to agree to her prize and the extra work in order for me to get paid, she added a section of her fence around 10 feet that had falling down due to the wind, she had me rapair that, i had to replace all the deck boards with the same price of $15,000 plus the paint was also included in that price, i had to agree to doing those terms, because she got mad cuz i had told her at the beginning that she needed trim around the windows and she said no, so when we were working on the job and her husband didnt see any trim on the windows he asked me and i said that his wife said no trim, she was really mad the next day and she called me really mad saying that i was gone make the house look good and she was really upset and she even said that she was gone pay me less than what we had agreed and i told her that i had sent her an email thay said no trim around the ************ said she did not care about that, that she was not gone pay me the money we had agree to and she was gone pay me less, its hard for me to say this, because im a grown men, but i remember her telling me that she did not care and i could *** her, it hard for me to say this because at the time it was really slow for me, i did not have money the money she had giving me in advance was to buy all the materials only, i remember thatni had to agree to her terms in order to get this job done and get paid, but i do remember i was so mad when i was talking to her that i started crying of how mad i was becuase i felt that she took advantage of me of that ************* had to agree to all the extra work for the $15,000, it was all the siding with some dry-rot plywood i had to buy plus i had to add all the trim to the windows i had to put back the fence with 3 or 4 new post i had to buy plus concrete, we used the same fence boards but new post, also i had to replace all the deck board n step ****************** top board only with the same price n to top ot off the paint job in the house labor n materials all that with the $15,000 she said she paid me, which she did paid me those $15,000 but i had to do all the extra work, i didnt really make much money from this job, it was more h*** she gave me, i had to keep mu posture in order for me to get paid and not get to this legal maters, but oh well, im learning alot from this, it was my fault on my end for not having everything under a contract, but i do remember her saying that she didnt care if i ***d her, thats what got me really scared of her, thats what when she was calling i thought it was cuase she wanted to hired me again, even the painter saw me at church and told me that she was looking for me, for another paint job, but i DID NOT wanted to work for her EVER again, maybe it was a language barrier on their end or my end, but if theirs a way i can go do the repairs with out me talking to her, it will be great, now i have to spend all this extra money out of my pocket, but like i said, im a man of my word i will go do the repairs needed, i just dont want to deal with ***** anymore, it being the works job expirence ever in my life, i had to act nice to her in order to finish that project, but i had said to my self that i will never work for her ever again, i just wanted to get paid have her happy with the job, but as u can see her real colors now, she did this claim, she could of talked to **** the guy that refer me to her, but i guess is just evil on her side, after all the h*** made go through will that job was going and now this, but oh well, im willing to go repair those dry-rot plywood that the inspector said and if i can talked to the inspector and not ***** it would be great, it really hurt me to say this about her, but she really is the worst customer ive ever worked for, thats y i did not want to answer her phone calls, because i did not want to do any more business with her, because i was afraid she was gone pull the same thing with another project, have me agree to a price n then pull the same moves again, thats why i decided not to answer her phone calls, it sad because after i did all that extra work for her for the $15,000, now i have this first ever bad review withu guys, but oh well, their is always a first time for everything and i this does not suprise me that she did this, but i do hope i can fix this matter n get done with her, because she is a rich lady and that why she was not afraid of me to *** her, because she has money to get a good lawyer and i dont have the money to *** her, plus ive never ***d anybody before i dont like to have that kind of stress in my life, i just want to work n provide for my family, that was the main reason i had to agree to all her terms, because i had to get the money to pay my rent and bill, but oh well i do feel that she took advange of me, but like i said if i dont have to talk to her to get these done it will be great, thanks for your time

I am rejecting this response because: ***************************** statements are simply not true. Please see the five attachment files. We like to include additional pieces of evidence that lay bare the inaccurate and vicious attacks *************************** made in his response to our claim. He repeatedly declared that the deck floor replacement and fence repair were not the part of work scope, instead, he said that these were extra pieces of work added on later without increased contract price. Apparently, his statements were absolutely incorrect, in accordance with the evidence.
The Scope of the Work that laid out in details for siding replacement, sun deck floor replacement, fence repair and exterior wall painting is attached as an additional part of evidence. The document clearly specified each piece of work with the price tags associated. As an instance:
Siding replacement;- $15,000
Deck floor replacement and fence repair:- $2,000
Exterior wall painting:- $3,000
We also like to point it out that the deck floor replacement and fence repair were in the original scope of work. ********************** signatures could be seen clearly when he received several interim payments.

Hi there this is *****, i do want to say first that i sincerily apologize for saying that she paid me $15,000 only, it is clearly my fault for saying that, it was a year later after i was done with that job n when i read that later with a complaint and saw the amount my feeling took over me and blinded my self with that amount and i was wrong for saying that she only paid me $15,000, she is right, they did paid me $20,000 after i saw the prints that she sent with bbb over the mail i realize that i had clearly made a mistake and i want to apoligize for the mistake, like i said before my feeling took over me when i was typing on the last responds i did everything came back, but i want to make this right and fix the plywood, one thing i want to bring up on my defense is, i saw the pictures of the report of the inspector there is mold on the inside, i just want to say that i did replaced all the Osb thats was dry-roted to best of my knowledge, i dont remember seen those area being dry-roted on the exterior side and i want to say that the reason why i didnt take it off, i was not hired to inspect on the crawled space and look for mold on the inside, but i do want to say im a human and make mistakes, ive could of missed it, but on the outside it looked good, its been a year since the job was done, it possible that i could be a leak or lack of ventilation, i just want to say that, but i do want to make thing right and set a schedule a day to go and see what materials i will need to fix n paint the siding in the areas that needs to be replaced and the ********** to make it right, i wish ***** accepts my apologies and i can make this right.Thanks.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: (1) No repair is necessary as the house was sold. (2) Complainant credited home buyer $4,486.50 for dry rot repair. (3) Complainant demands $4,486.50 payment from *************************** no later than June 5th, 2023. (4) Payment must be made in a cashier's check payable to ********************* and mailed to *****************************************************************. (5) The photo clearly shows dry rot. (6) The email exchanges between seller's and buyer's agents confirmed the credit amount. (7) ********** Estimate ***** shows quoted price for repair.
