    I have a **21 Honda CR-V that I bought new. I had never had any problems with the car. I had ****** miles on the car so bought gasoline regularly. On 10/31/**23 I stopped at Space Age Fuel in *********** **********. I got $38.05 in gasoline on pump #**. I left the gas station driving approximately a mile and 1/2 when my car started shaking real bad and stopped in the middle of the road. I had to call AAA because the car wouldn't restart, but would shake. AAA hauled the car to ****************** in *******, where I had initially purchased the car. The next day ****************** contacted me and said they found water in my case tank. After removing the fuel line and gas tank, cleaning all and installing new gas the car started again. ***** told me to contact Space Age and ask them to reimburse me for the repair of $540 plus gas of $578.05. I contacted Space Age and they said it wasn't their responsibility and I would not be refunded, that they didn't have water in their tanks and I probably got the water somewhere else. This just doesn't make sense. There is no other way water could have gotten into my gas tank with the exception of the gas I filled up with at Space Age Fuel.

    I'm sorry this happened to you.  I can't see how it would be water from our tanks because with the amount of volume we do and all dispensers are connected to the same tank.  We have also never received any other complaints from customers about the fuel they received.  Also, our tanks are monitored 24/7 with electronic tank monitors and sensors.  Our tanks do now show water in our tanks currently.  It is also signed off by the state, who will come in and check all dispensers and certify each one.

    I am rejecting this response because: There is no other way water could have gotten into my gas tank except through getting gas at Space Age Fuel. I had never had a problem with my car prior to filling up my tank at Space Age and within minutes of filling up my car it started shaking and stopped moving. There is no other explanation. ****************** states:

    "verified engine is not starting, but is cranking. Performed fuel pressure test and verified ok. checked for DTC's and found none set. Removed fuel line and took sample of fuel. fuel has a lot of water in it. must remove sending unit and drain fuel from the tank and add good fuel. *removed contaminated fuel from tank and cleaned as needed. cleared codes and installed good clean fuel in. verified engine now starts and runs normally. ***recommend to customer to see if fuel station will reimburse her for the contaminated fuel removal"

    When filling my gas tank I paid $38.05 with my credit card on pump 20, and $540.00 to have ****************** repair my car, for a total of $578.05 which I would like to have refunded.

    My computer won't let me send my copies because it says they are too big.  Space Age Fuel has these copies in their possession already. I can also mail or fax them if requested.

    Our answer is still the same.  Our tanks are monitored 24/7 and are installed with sensors.  Yours is the only complaint I have seen with this issue.

    Space age fuel 27 in ***********, ******, First Incident around 9:30 pm, 12/01/23 My mom and I went to get gas after I got off work. We parked in the serving lane to get gas and as we talked to the male gas attendant, we asked for $15 regular gas, but when we looked up we saw that the guy instead decided to pump in $15 premium gas. We did NOT ask for premium gas. It was late so me and my mom thought the guy misheard us due to the guy wearing a full black mask, from the cold most likely. 2nd Incident at 9:25 pm, Sunday However the next time we went to get gas the same guy appeared. And as we talked to him about what happened last time he went into a rant telling us how he put premium gas into the car because that is what our car is supposed to have. We told him we understood but still we insisted that we wanted regular gas, and Not premium. The guy stated, " If you want regular gas then go pump it yourself". The guy was scaring me and my mom. Never in the last 10 years, at this gas station have we ever been treated like this. This guy was rude, condescending, and overall unprofessional. We request someone please look into this matter, or else we might not ever return. I don't feel safe even to use the self-serve ******** with this guy near.

    I appreciate you letting me know about this experience you had at our *********** location.  I will be talking to the store manager about this and explain to him that the attendant should never treat a customer in that way ever again.  I will be having the manager give him a warning and if he continues to treat people in this way he doesn't need to work for Space Age because that is not how we represent our company.

    I rented a **Haul through this space age **Haul rental center this Sunday. I returned the **Haul that same Sunday and handed the keys to someone an employee who said that they were the mother of this family business. I received several calls from **Haul stating that I never returned the vehicle. After calling ********************* I was told to go to the location and see if I found the truck. I did find the truck and sent images to the **Haul representative. Subsequently, I was charged for a 3-day rental, a dolly, and an empty gas tank. However, I returned the **Haul that same day. Additionally, I never received the dolly because the employee stated that they needed to use it around their house so they didn't have one available. I was also told not to fill up the gas tank because they have had issues with people siphoning gas. I filled up the gas tank anyway because I didn't want to get charged. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.

    I am sorry for your experience at this location.  This particular location is not operated by us, this is a franchise location.  You will  have to get with the owners of that location to get this resolved.  please let me know if nothing happens on there part on getting you taken care of.

    On 9/25, I got gas from Space ******* station *********************************************************************. There was a malfunction with the hose after the attendant removed it from my car causing gas to spill. It took several minutes for gas to get shut off and no one spoke to me during this time. Once it was shut off, another attendant came out and closed the transaction. Upon inspecting the receipt, I noticed I was charged $56.85 for ****** gallons. My car can only hold **** gallons and this amount of gas was more than I needed to fill my tank. Because of this, I was overcharged approximately $15. Transaction #******* My partner notified Space Age headquarters via online form within an hour after this occurred. A representative of Space Age HQ responded to the grievance within 24 hours and asked for the specific location. My partner responded with the location shortly thereafter but didnt receive a response. On 10/9, my partner reached out again to check on the status but we have yet to receive a response. I have now been trying to get a refund for 17 days now and it seems this isnt going to be resolved. I would like assistance on resolving this issue.

    So the hours posted say they close at 9 pm I have to use a ****** and I walked 5 blocks to this place just for them to be closed at730 this happens all the time .

    Space age on **************************** and Columbia overcharged my credit card $90 I went there to get gas $10 and they charge my credit card $100 furthermore they did not provide me a receipt only way I found out is by checking my bank statement

    Yes I came in for gas on June 14th 2022 I asked him to put $10 in I received my gas it was charged my credit card but they charged my credit card $100 on top of that they didn't even give me the receipt only reason I found out is because I checked my bank statement

    Please contact us at ************.  Ask for ***********************.  This is most likely a fuel pump hold placed by the card issuer and not something we can control.  We would need to know the card type that was used in order to confirm this detail.  We wish they didnt do that but anytime a card is used at the pump the card issuer authorizes a certain amount.  We have no control over this amount.  It should clear and settle for the correct amount.  The charge will only show as "pending" and that actual amount will be what settles.  we apologize for the inconvenience as we have tried everything we can to prevent or change this.
