    *office did not use correct insurance provided to complete treatment plan and pricing for services *office billed over $2,000 incorrectly to an invalid plan they choose to use vs insurance provider provided ****** office staff lied initially saying they did not we have proof they did and now admits her dental hygienist Meaghen made the error *Billing out of pocket is now more than it should have been as quote was incorrect as they used incorrect insurance costing us over $1000.00 out of pocket and refuse to provided a corrected detailed billing form showing work done with dental codes and cost for attempted reimbursement from a secondary insurance *Refuse to let us speak with Dentist /Owner ********************** to file complaint about office staff mistake *Refuse to take ownership / accountability of there errors let alone apologize *Threatened to call ************************************************************************************************************************************************************ the past for secondary claims needed. Threw me out of office due to asking to make an appointment with my Dentist to discuss the problem *Told us we signed form even though they did in error and not their problem as now we have a new insurance and they are not providers any longer for us * attempted to provided an old treatment plan with hand written notes crossing out incorrect insurance they billed and added pricing for to submit to my insurance with hand written diagnosis codes on a envelope which are not expectable for a claim. *Office staff is not properly trained to do dental billing and processes of their job * Advised in error also AFLAC is not for Dental only medical which is 100% wrong and misspoken y ***** again *Billing was put in my name *************************** who was not the patient my adult son *********************** was the patient and is an adult so it also should not be billed to me .I did not sign any treatment plans or agree to any fees for these services he did

    Response to complaint. 
    Pt set up account with her son under her insurance on the same account. Pts mom is the guarantor on the account.  Insurance provided by mom was denied. A different insurance was provided later. New insurance had less benefit available. New insurance paid on claims and balance was billed to patient. Pts request for documents were sent via mail. We bill insurance for service provided. Patient is responsible to know their benefit information. 
    Pt asked to leave premises due to belligerent behavior and threatening staff. Pt refused to leave. Had to threaten to call to 911 to get patient to leave premises.

    I am rejecting this response because:
     They are lying. I was the ganantor when my child was a minor and the incorrect insurance his staff incorrectly billed to was termed coverage that was not active for myself or my son. On 2 visits my son came in as a 25 year old adult whom should have his own account which I called and asked for when I received the first $1000 **** in my name which i never authorized. They provided a false treatment plan trying to use what they thought was a $2500 yearly coverage for a new insurance they were advised by my son was his personal insurance and had never used . He only had $1000 of yearly coverage and dentist is not a provider. He was naive and did not know to check as this was his family dentist for years and thought providing his insurance prior to treatment it would be billed correctly and did not realize they created treatment plan under wrong insurance. Which if assistant would have created treatment plan from insurance they were provided all parties would have been correctly informed. They took advantage of a young person who has never used their insurance in their own . They are predatory and negligent. I want this **** removed from my name immediately as I NEVER authorized the senile  old lady to bill me. I never signed or authorized this since my son is now an adult. Also I never threatened anyone I asked to make an appointment to speak with sr ************************* was told to leave I told the senile old lady she didnt know how to do her job and she could go to h***  and she threatened to call 911 if I did t leave. I never said I would not leave I laughed and asked if she was going to call 911 because I told her to go to hell? ********************* has shown he is not a provider he is a financial predator and I will continue to file complaints and make everyone aware of his practices as their are at least 3 people in Creswell who same is*** has occurred costing them $1000-1500 *** to his staff negligence in billing.
