Re: unethical business practices & poor customer srv; customer since 2006, Disappointed/frustrated by the way Ive been treated. Paid for merger of 2 accts (= 100K credits) end of Aug 23; not resolved. Given the runaround whenever *** sought clarification on Srvs or attempted to address issues w/hidden fees which werent disclosed upfront, leading to financial inconvenience. Ive found them dishonest dealings w/customers; failed to provide accurate info, and reps ***** accountability when confronted with legitimate concerns.Had to cancel 2 reservations; asked if they would be affected if scheduled. This was done at a loss of family schedules; wouldnt have booked if correct info was provided. The customer srv provided is abysmal. Dont respond to emails timely, if at all, and evasive when called for assistance. Level of disregard for customer inquiries is unacceptable; reflects poorly on the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. As a loyal customer investing both ************* I feel disregarded. Years spent, significant financial resources w/company, only to be treated as concerns dont matter. I believe they provide nothing but condemnation & should be held accountable for their deceitful practices & appalling customer service. After speaking to a Supvr, *******, Title Srvs on 3/8; stated nothing else was needed & merger would move forward. In-turn email sent to ****************, Closer, Title Srvs after I spoke w/Supvr, the 2 reservs canceled and to pls contact me if anything else was needed. No reply; follow up email sent 3/13. No reply, called 3/20-told nothing was being done; only note was that the request was denied & Id have to pay again to start over to which I responded is BS; requested to speak to *******, Supvr, not in the office-wouldnt return until 3/22. Requested a call to speak to any Supvr. Requesting the BBB investigate. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution.Sincerely,******************************

My mother passed and left me her Worldmark vacation credits with the request to divide them equally between myself and three sisters. My owner number is ***********. Worldmark stated that a fee of $299 per split request was required and I paid $897 on 12/7/2022 along with all required paperwork. They stated it would take 10 weeks. Follow up call from me on 3/14/23 and they stated only one at a time could be processed. 9/5/23 first split completed (33 weeks). 9/5/23 started combine request for 2nd sister who is already an owner (***********) ** stated ***** weeks to complete. (it has been 22 weeks and counting with nothing completed). During this entire process our points have been frozen by WM for their accounting purposes and I have been paying monthly maintenance dues on them without being able to use them. I have called many many times and was never able to talk to someone that could actually explain the delay. I still have one sister to complete and they have not even started on my 3rd sister. I was just informed that my points that have been frozen during this ordeal are set to expire at the end of February. I called to ask for an extension on the expiration of the points and they were unable to help me. All of the points involved have been paid off many years ago and I see no reason for a split request to take so long. I have come to my own conclusion that Worldmark is full of some of the most incompetent people in business, but I do not want the time delays caused by that to force my points that were frozen by them to expire. Thank you for your assistance.

On July 24, ************************************************ ******* ******. we were approached by a Worldmark salesperson, they said we could tour the hotel, have snacks, and give some information to see if we would be a good fit for the company. No obligation. no final.sale, just information. we agreed. I told our contact, salesperson and every other human I saw that I was very drunk, in no condition to sign or evaluate anything.i was informed that was great, we were only providing information. 30 days to make a decision. I heard that phrase from every salesperson I spoke with.many times. my wife left after a few minutes, our kids were acting up, not sitting still.that was fine, we are just getting information.I stayed for a few more minutes, agreed to a credit score check and provided some basic information. I was told I would need to provide a credit card, in case we decided to.go forward. I asked if it was going to be charged anything as it was our travel card. No. absolutely not, 100 percent, no way.not until we agreed to the contract.30 days to decide. 30 days.8 days later I called to cancel, it was just out of our budget.I was informed it was too late, we already bought a condo.a few days later our **************** card was charged.then we recieved a new credit card, with a **** dollar balance that we never agreed to or signed up for.Additionally we now owe thousands of dollars for a condo we have never seen.this is a straight scam.our identity has been stolen, credit card information taken, and we now have a credit card we did not want and can't afford.the representatives have been rude, angry, threatening and have repeatedly told me "too bad".Any help resting this would be greatly appreciated.

We called the hotel to place a reservation and they transferred us to a 3rd party to handle the details. They asked for a credit card to hold the reservation which we gave them; the representative said the reservation could be cancelled up to Sept 23 with a full refund. They then proceeded to charge the entire $7000 dollar hotel fee right then. We tried to get a refund today and they told us the reservation is non-refundable. Total scam! Please help.

    Hi --

Unfortunately I made an error on the business. My wife told me that she made a reservation through the hotel:

    Business Name: Worldmark Resort
    Address: Gleneden Beach, OR 97388
    Phone: **************

but actually it was through a third party: www.reservationdesk.com

The rest of the complaint stands as reported.

    Thanks
