On 2/12/2024 we had a scheduled regular maintenance visit by ************************* for our 2 heat pumps.The entire visit was excellent. Here are reasons why:1. Appointment was easy to make, and ******* arrival was prompt and was preceded by a notification with a photo. 2. ****** was very courteous and friendly. He asked for and listened to our questions. He provided answers and solutions for all that we asked. He was very familiar with our equipment, explained its current status (good) and provided a future roadmap. 3. Just had work done following a job review and estimate from A&E Heating and Air (**********). The job was to place a water cut off valve for my home with easy access. While doing the job, my technician (*******) noticed there was no cut off valve specific to my water heater. He quickly gave me a quote in the event that I wanted to add this to todays service. I did and an happy to say the job for both was top notch. There was some confusion on my end, as to where my main near the road (new house) that would need to be closed to begin the work. But though this puzzle, ******* was good natured and very patient. Once the work begin inside he communicated with me each step of the way. The finally job was tidy, without issue, and even cleaned up in the end. I would not hesitate to advise anyone needing services they provide, to book with them. A&E **************************** has been professional from A to Z with clear communication, upfront quote & options, solid installation, and polite presence in our home. A&E plumbing & Heating purchased ***** heating and cooling, they are a excellent company to hire, they installed new furnace in my home, the employees , ****, **** and **** were on time ,courteous and qualified installers. It's difficult to become a happy A and E customer when no one ever returns a call requesting service. I placed a call to them approximately Nov 9 requesting service for a sinking heat pump pad. I was told by the answering service that my call would be put into the cue and I would receive a call back. Having not heard back from anyone, I placed another call to A and E on Nov 20 requesting the same service for my heat pump pad. Once again, I was told by their answering service that I would receive a call back. Today is Nov 26 and I have not heard from anyone. Both of my calls were placed during normal business hours. My heat pump was originally installed by ***** Heating, who is now owned by A and *************** Heating provided nothing but high quality, customer service. Apparently they are now owned by A and E who have done nothing but give me the impression that my small service job is of no concern to them since it's been over two weeks now and no one has bothered to call me back. Shame on A and E for seemingly destroying the reputation of ***** Heating. Suffice it say that if I ever need assistance with my heating/cooling system, I will NOT be calling A and E.A & E Heating & Air Inc Response

Good morning Mr. ***** ***************. I first want to apologize that we did not make contact when you were in need of assistance. I have looked into our customer records and located your profile. I see notes from our service coordinator that she attempted to reach you on 11/9 as well as 11/20. Her notes indicate two different reasons for not connecting personally with you. One says she left a message and the other says no person or machine picked up. We did retain staff from ***** and their coordinator is who was trying to reach you on both these occasions. As we spoke this morning, I am glad that you were able to get your situation resolved and I hope that you might consider us for future projects.

We had A&E perform duct-cleaning and duct-sealing for us this week. Their technician was prompt, courteous, and thorough. The initial estimate of leakage (after duct cleaning of our **** sq ft home built in ****) was a loss of 436 cfm (fan was rated for **** cfm), so about 30% loss! Based on this estimated loss we went forward with duct sealing. The initial leakage number for the duct system was 397 cfm, which was determined by measuring how much air a lab-calibrated fan had to supply to maintain a specific pressure in the duct system. (I considered the estimate we'd received a couple of days earlier to be pretty close!) After the duct-sealing process, leakage was measured to be 4 cfm, so WAY less (99% reduction). We're eager to see the savings on our heating and cooling bills!*******, the technician, was a pleasure to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable on both furnace and duct installation as well as cleaning and sealing processes. I can recommend him without hesitation, and I'd have no reservations about having him do additional work on our HVAC system or those of a friend.A & E Heating & Air Inc Response
