Repairs that were suggested did not fix the issue. I paid to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. I did all the suggested repairs but the car is the same as it was before. The fasteners from under the hood weren't replaced.

we have no record of this individual ever being a customer. They live in ***** and state that they had their vehicle diagnosed by what appears to be a mobile mechanic. We do not provide mobile services and we are located in ************* ******. When we received this complaint we did check to see if there are auto repair shops in ***** that use the name "My Mechanic" and there are several. At least one of these provides mobile mechanic services. We suspect that ************* has mistakenly filed a complaint against us because our name is the same or similar to whomever provided her service. Again, this individual does not appear to have ever been a customer of ours. Please update us on this matter when you receive any response from them. Thank you.

Severely padded bill. I told him to fix anything under $1000. They called and said it would be just over $1000. When I got there to pick it up it was *****. And the invoice included parts I had already replaced in my driveway.

****************** had his vehicle towed in because it would not run. He stated that he had replaced several parts. this is detailed on the repair order that is attached. ****************** asked us to diagnose and advise him on the repairs needed to get the vehicle running. I will summarize what is in the attached repair order. Our auto tech found that the *** was bad. While going through the diagnosis process he also determined that the battery was also bad. The distributor had been installed 180 degrees out of time. At this point our service writer contacted ****************** and told him what the initial diagnosis was. ****************** owed $95 in diagnosis cost at this time. The service writer informed him that the diagnosed repairs would be a little over $1,000. He also informed him that the vehicle was still running a little rough with those repairs (the tech had plugged a good *** into the vehicle as part of the diagnosis process so he knew the *** was bad but the vehicle still was a little rough). ****************** authorized more time to figure out what else might be wrong at this time. The tech found that with the authorized repairs the vehicle was setting crankshaft sensor codes. He monitored the data from the sensor and found that it was recording but intermittently dropping signal. He inspected the sensor and found that the mounting bolt was loose and the sensor had been rubbing on the fly wheel. This had damaged it so he replaced it. At this point the vehicle was running properly. The service writer called ****************** and informed him that the vehicle was ready and what the final bill was. there did not appear to be any issue at that time. When ****************** arrived to pick up he paid the bill but was very animated and used vulgar language, refused to take his invoice, and flipped our service writer off as he left.

The attachment ****************** included is a pricing estimate for an *** reflash or reprogram. Replacing an *** is a completely different repair. The battery was bad and we replaced it. We did not replace the distributor that he had installed, we reinstalled it in order to get the engine in time. the only part that we replaced that ****************** had already installed himself was the crankshaft sensor and this was because it had been damaged. I am not sure if ****************** understands the work we did because he did not take a copy of his repair order and his conduct when he picked up his vehicle did not allow the service tech to review the work with him.
