            My husband and I bought our home in October 2017. One of the agreements for purchase was for the sellers to replace the current roof - they used King & King (originally in ******) to put on a new 30-year roof. When we moved in, we had the roofing company come back out within 2 months because our flashing was lifting and it was unpainted - they came out and corrected those issues. We recently noticed deterioration/damage to our back dormers and have attempted to contact King & King for the last 3 months to no avail. We have received 2 proposals from 2 different roofing companies - they both say that the shingles may have been replaced, but the underlayment certainly was not and we need to not only replace (not repair) the 2 dormers, but we should do all 3. We have filed a claim with our insurance company, but we are unsure they will cover the cost due to it being related to faulty/incomplete/misrepresented craftmanship or subpar materials. I am attaching the email between myself and the seller stating that King & King was the roofing company they utilized to replace the roof. I am also attaching the Sales Agreement stating that the sellers would replace the roof as well as complete the repairs outlined in the Receipt of Reports (also attached). I have also included a screenshot of an email from one of the recent estimates stating that the underlayment was not replaced.We are not sure where to go from here as we are looking at replacing the roof on 3 dormers (estimated cost of $12000) on a roof that is supposed to be a "30-Year roof," and have not been able to contact the business. Any guidance is very welcome. Thank you for your time and consideration!
