I stayed at Surftides on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, I paid $230.00 for one night. My expectations for a Hotel is that it is clean, hot water for a bath or shower and TV in my room. Surftides only provided the clean room. The water was barely warm, and the cable was out. When I called about these issues, I was told that they were intermittent and were being resolved. That was a lie, the cable had already been down for two days before I checked in. I would like to at least get half of my payment back, if I had known that they had these issues I would have gone somewhere else, but I was not provided with that option. I feel like this hotel went out of their way to deceive their guests and I don't want them to profit from this deception.

We booked a hotel room at ********** Hotel through Booking.com as a gift to my mother. The full amount paid by my credit card at time of booking was $242.41. When she arrived she was told she needed to provide a credit card so she did. Her stay was on October 13, 2023. That same day her credit card was charged $108.11. Once discovered she called ********** and was told that Booking.com didnt send them enough funds so she was being charged the difference. I then contacted Booking.com and after several calls was provided an email link to submit proof of charge to my mothers credit card and told they would research the issue further. They also confirmed that they have fully paid ********** Hotel. On 12/21 I submitted the statement and received a reply a couple of hours later that my request was denied because they reached out to ********** and they said they did not charge the card. My wife then called ********** and requested to talk to a manager and was refused. She then asked for a managers name and was refused. We have submitted our proof of charge again to ********** Hotel. We are requesting a refund of the $108.11 to my mothers credit card.

We have stayed here over 10 times over the years.Never had a problem. We stayed in January renting two king rooms.Morning of check out we noticed a funny looking image in fire alarm.Took pic to show manager at hotel . During check out asked about what we saw .The manager and maintenance man went to room to check both came back saying all was ok...We left ,after 4 hours I get message on phone from bank saying we and two unexplained charges one of $27 the other of $700.. contacted ******** and manager said there was smoking in room,I explained we had not asked for proof ,we received these pic which show nothing,I asked if the room had a smell, why didn't she say anything at check out.Forward to them letter from MD saying I was not a smoker. Could not believe they were doing this ,fig it was because of question about funny fire alarm.Looked up manufacturer of alarm and they also make hidden cameras. Please contact me for further information **********
