    Harry & David is not a responsible company...it lacks true customer service .It promises service ***** times and dosent follow through...no matter how many times you complain, your promised satisfaction with no result

    Early in December, 2024 I ordered a Christmas Gift Tower ($141.00) to be delivered to my daughter BEFORE Christmas. On Christmas Eve she received a cheap plastic ornament but NO Christmas food tower. Attempts to contact them during the following week were futile. No one answered so I tried their new order line and got a human who said the tower was on its way. No tower arrived so I tried again and was told that that item was sold out BEFORE Christmas. I cancelled the order and requested a refund of $141.00. Then I disputed it with my credit card company and the amount was refunded back to my credit card. I was happily done with Harry and David. However, two weeks later my daughter received a Harry and David package of lesser value. Since I had cancelled the original order and had NOT ORDERED another lesser (late) tower I ignored it. Harry and David charged me $141.00 AGAIN. Never will I do business with them ever again.*****, ***************, **

    I ordered a birthday present for some friends and it was to have been delivered on 10/25/2024. Harry & David cancelled my order and never bothered to notify me. I didn't find out until 3 months later (1/22/2025) and only because my credit card finally received a refund. I contacted **************** to find out why it was cancelled and why I wasn't notified and they would not give me a straight answer.

    I ordered 2 cheesecakes and they were delivered on 11/22/24. One of the cheesecakes did not have sufficient dry ice and was out of temperature upon delivery, so I contacted Harry & David the same day. They promised I would get a ***lacement, but a month later and after speaking with multiple ***resentatives, a ***lacement was never even shipped. I even had a *** say they had ordered a ***lacement, only for me to reach out again when I didn't receive anything and the next *** informs me that the first *** never actually placed the order. I reach out again 12/24/24 and the *** gives me the same spiel about sending a ***lacement, so I told them to just send me a refund. They told me the refund would be $105.04 and I would receive it within 7-10 business days. I wait 13 business days, but I never receive the refund. I reach out to customer service again on 1/16/25 and they tell me the previous *** never processed a refund, so they will now process a refund and it will be for $96.40. Except by the end of the conversation, the *** changes the number to $93.49. Their customer service ***s do not have a good command of English, cannot communicate effectively, do not do what they say they will do, tell lies, and get annoyed with customers while trying to rush them off the chat. So now I'm supposed to wait another 7-10 business days to receive a refund of unknown amount, and that's only if I actually get the refund. If I do get the refund, it will be at least 1 month since I was originally promised a refund, which is unconscionable. I have ordered from Harry & David multiple times over the years and never had an issue, so to have an issue go unresolved for 2 months (and counting) is shocking.

    Due to a problem with their website, I had a duplicate order. Since I never got a confirmation for the duplicate, I was unaware of the issue until we got 2 deliveries. When I contacted customer service, they refused a return of the duplicate order and would not issue a full refund for the duplicate. They were arrogant and unconcerned about fairness to a customer. My company has ordered from them frequently, but never again. They are not interested in customer retention.

    Very dissatisfied with their service.Ordered a gift on 12/13/2024 and was sent to wrong address.They admitted to leaving out part of the address and that it would be reshipped. Nothing has happened yet and cannot get them to contact me

    I was sent a gift box that was to arrive well before Christmas. After many false notifications of delivery efforts, it finally arrived December 27 with pears completely beaten up and cheese for which the ice packs had long since melted. The giver called both the seller and the shipper several times with no assistance available. She was finally told she would receive a refund, but this never happened. She has disputed the charge with her credit card company, hoping to get this resolved. Neither of us will ever order from Harry and David again.

    Same story as everyone else, basically. After receiving a million emails from Harry & David I decided to pull the trigger on two orders for Christmas. I placed the orders on 12/14/24 and received both email and text confirmation that the orders were placed. On 1/15/25 I received an email informing me that a full refund was being issued on the orders that were placed a MONTH ago. No text no email...or so I thought initially. I DID scour my emails and found an email dated 12/23/24 informing me that "Unfortunately, we have encountered an unexpected issue that prevents us from fulfilling your order as planned." Nine days later and two days before Christmas they decide it's time to send an email. Terrible communication. Horrible service. I complained of course on their chat feature. 20% discount at first then 40% discount finally is all they'll do. Not good enough.

    I have been a Harry & David customer for years, but now the quality of the food and the customer service have become absolutely terrible. I ordered a Christmas gift box of snacks to be delivered to family by December 19, 2024. The order and delivery date inexplicably disappeared from my account on the website, so I called. The ***resentative didnt know why the order had disappeared from my account, but they assured me that the gift would be delivered by the 19th. On the 24th, I found out from the family that their gift had still not been delivered yet, so I called ***** again. They still provided no explanation, but offered to send a ***lacement to arrive by December 31. The gift boxes arrived on the 28th, but the next day I got a text from family saying that the cheese in the box was moldy. Attached was a photo of moldy cheese. I called H&D again. **************** was apologetic, but didnt go out of their way to compensate me for my trouble or the moldy cheese. They said they could give me a refund or send a ***lacement gift of equal price, but not both (which is what I asked for). I opted for an equally priced gift box of moose munch (popcorn) and told the family to let me know when it arrived. Today is January 9th. The moose munch never arrived -- no record of the order online in my account, no emails from H &D. I called again, explained everything again, asked what happened, and again asked for both a refund and an order of moose munch. The ***resentative said they'd refunded my order since moose munch was out of stock. I was never notifed that it was out of stock. I asked to speak to a supervisor and explained everything again to her. She told me the moose munch was now back in stock. (The *** didn't tell me that.) She offered me a 20% discount on a gift box of moose munch, to arrive by January 14. No refund. I accepted the offer, sick to death of the situation. Fingers crossed that thr moose munch arrives. I won't be buying from Harry and David again..

    Terrible company. I ordered a gift basket for a co-worker who retired in October 2024. I recently sent them a note, and they informed me that they never received the item despite being billed by Harry and David for it in October. The Harry and David website shows that shipping on the gift basket is pending as of January 2025.
