Crowe Foreign Services through ***************************** has refused to fully refund $2,011.95 for breached duties, I wasn't informed special service was available, I was informed by *********************** that all forms needed to be process to the Courts, they would provide that service, they would service the defendant within 4 months or less and I would not have to do anything, but email the summon, complaint and express mail the check in the amount of $1,985.00 and that would start the ball rolling, on 5-2-22 they received the check. On 5-16-22 *****************************, stated there is complications now they can't serve the ******************* adjustment were needed to serving the summon, so I explained to there's no other summon required. On 5-17-22 now ******* informed me to service the Court her affidavit, requesting 7 to 9 months as to servicing the defendant, so I called her requesting refund, because this was not explained to me and she state no refund. On the call ******* stated for me to give her the information to join the Zoom Session, on 5-26-22 and she would explain to the Judge everything required, but she was a no show. I call her requesting full refund once again, she refused stating she did not set her clock right. Please!! I'm simply requesting for full refund in the amount of $1,985.00 immediately credited back to my checking account, express 1 day mail cashier check and $26.95 for ********* mailing the check to Crowe Foreign Services, on 5-3-22. I've attached Exhibits A - C in support of complaint and I'm simply asking for full refund, so I can get someone the can execute immediately, I should not have to wait a year, 7 or 9 months for servicing anyone. Thanks, but no Thanks

We were paid to provide a service and did so. We do not guarantee the results because they are provided by a foreign court (in this instance that foreign court is in *****).  We are not attorneys and do appear in court to explain things to a judge. We assist our clients by providing explanatory affidavits of the procedures and the documents required to support our clients when they need to give information to their court.

I have attached the documents provided to our client (complainant *************************) that explain what we did and why a refund to the client is not warranted and his complaint is baseless.

Let me know if you need anything further from us.

    Complaint: 17288505

I am rejecting this response because: If, I did not contact the BBB, I believe Crowe Foreign Services/ ***************************** would not have provided such documents after receiving payment, on 5-2-22 and it was ******************** idea she would appear before court, on 6-9-22 and she failed to do so. And staff explained copies of translated documents would be forwarded upon receiving the payment of $1,985 never sharing Crowe provided private service, which ******* explained to ******************. So, I'm just requesting the receipts of the address of the Court the international priority packing was forwarded to and the Crowe Foreign Services provide all tangible receipts of the name of the court serving the summon & complaint and affidavits of service by electronic stamped times and dates upon receiving it. Also ****************** signed documents on 6-15-22 and mailed such legal documents, 0n 6-17-22 over a month later, refusing to answer BBB and myself. But thanks for finally responding and I will wait until everything is processed ant returned to me as executed, to present to the court.   Thanks!!

    Sincerely,

    *****************************

    Dear BBB,

The details ****************** requests, that we are able to provide, are all in the pdf documents provided with our initial response (attached again).  The only information we have is the ***** tracking number (in the pdf).  The contact information for the government office responsible for receiving the documents and issuing them out to one of their courts for service is on the Hague Request in the pdf but the authorities in ***** rarely have any information to provide because they are not obligated to do so until the service is completed.

HOWEVER, THERE IS NO ELECTRONIC FILING OF ANYTHING.  In addition, there will be no "Affidavit of Service" because under the ************* Convention, the court in ***** will provide a hard copy, mailed, of their own proof documents and ** courts are required to accept that in lieu of an affidavit of service.  This will be returned to ****************** upon receipt from *****.

The delay in getting the documents to ***** dealt with the uncertainty of the Summons and when ****************** instructed us that this was the only Summons he will be able to get, we proceeded with that Summons and sent everything to *****. I am sorry that ****************** does not understand how things work in a foreign country and the fact that the **** courts dont have any control over how process service will be done in a foreign country, but we DID explain this.  However, we are not attorneys and never claimed to be.  We cannot advise clients, we can provide recommendations based upon experience, and inform client of the requirements and restrictions when trying to serve a defendant outside the **.

****************** was given ALL HIS OPTIONS when we provided our very detailed information sheet before he even started this process (copy attached again).  This DID outline the time frame, as did the email that sent it, and he chose ***** Service.

To confirm, the fees paid by ****************** were for the work done to date.

    Complaint: 17288505

I am rejecting this response because: This is my 2nd request to, ********************************* through BBB to provide ******* with the direct address, phone number, service log # & courtroom of this Court in ******, ***** my court documents were mailed. I would like to keep track of all proceedings and the processes of this foreign services to ensure proper & effective service against the Defendant, ******************** SA. Because ****************** only provided an International Priority Mailing Receipt without showing, a service log # by the court, the documents inside the package and the address it was forwarded to.

    1. Where?? are the service of process log numbers by the ****** Court Personnel receiving these documents with assigning case# and login# for review and expected date of service.

    Sincerely,

While we value all our customers and take their concerns very seriously, it must be said that we are paid to provide a service and in Mr. ******** case, we provided that service and, because ****************** is acting as his own attorney, we took extra time trying to explain everything to him.  Unfortunately, he is simply not comprehending the process and appears to expect more than he paid for.

All information we have on this service has already been provided to ******************. The information he is now asking for (service of process log numbers by the ****** Court Personnel receiving these documents with assigning case# and login# for review and expected date of service), we cannot give because we do not have this information.  ************ of ******* is not required to provide us with the name of the court they give the documents to, or any other information about the service until it is completed..this is an internal judicial process performed through the government of ***** under international agreement ************** Convention).

The reason it is done this way is to protect the plaintiffs ability to enforce a judgment in *****.

************ of ******* in ***** is NOT OBLIGATED TO GIVE US INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT COURT THEY GAVE THE DOCUMENTS TO AND THEY DO NOT.

We were paid to prepare the paperwork, translate the case documents, and courier the service request to the proper judicial authorities in *****, WHICH WE DID.

The following is contact information for the government office that received Mr. ******** documents:

    Subdireccin ******* de ********** **************************************************************************************** ******
    **************** / 44 11

The above information was on the documents already given to ******************.  He is simply asking for more than is available and we did what he requested, execute a ************* request in *****.  The rest is in the hands of the ******* government.

    Complaint: 17288505

I am rejecting this response because: Every process and proceedings of any Court, there is a login#, case#, docket# or invoice# for record keeping, monitor, track or retrieve for the purpose of correcting, updating and present to be heard before the Court. I do not believe ***** Court System differ that much from ***************** Courts, ******** Courts or any other State Courts.

I'm simply requesting for a docket#, case# or login# to keep track of the proceedings and process, no one can tell me, ***** Government require no such case, docket or login numbers as for record keeping nor provide a stamping stating such documents were received from Crowe Foreign Services.

    Sincerely,
