VERY poor excuse for a hotel. My wife and I stayed in this hotel over Labor Day weekend for two nights. The first night was okay, but when we returned to the hotel on the second night, our room was in shambles with our used towels and shower curtain lying in the middle of the entry way, and several of our our belongings where missing. We went down to talk to the front desk, and he said he would look around to see if he could find them and would call us with an update. After waiting nearly 2 hours, we went back down to find that he was outside smoking. After he saw us, he quickly ran back inside to say he had no luck with locating our belongings. After asking how he would fix the problem, he said he would report it to manager in the morning. He did not, nor do I believe he had any intension of doing so. After explaining what happened to the dayshift manager, she said she would look for our missing items. Later that day she called saying they found some items and would ship them to us. Not all of the items could be returned however since some of the items where perishable, including an expensive smoked salmon. We emphasized that we needed to be refunded for our stay since the hotel staff not only left our room a disaster, but had also stolen from us. They said they would refund us, however we didn't realize all they intended to do was give us reward points towards another stay, which we have not seen... We have tried multiple times over the last two months to have them make this right. The hotel staff has a big habit of telling customers there is no manager in, in order to put off a complaint. I've called their corporate office twice and had them put in a ticket each time for the hotel manager to get ahold of us. They have never attempted to call... ********** staff is extremely unprofessional. There are other reviews online for this specific hotel of a similar nature. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS.
