I came in about four weeks ago to get a squeaky noise looked at. They find I was leaning oil and needed to replace the valve cover. They charge me $1,003 to fix it. Three weeks later I noticed my oil is leaking. So I try to take it back to them by first calling a head and making an appointment. I show up for my appointment time and the employees have no idea why I am there. A red headed employee shows up and goes "I'm not the one who worked on the car". I ask him if they are going to still look at it and he gets extremely rude with me and start raising his voice. I tell him if it's too much trouble I'll just go somewhere else and he started getting increasingly frustrated to the point I just had to leave while he was shouting at me. So I went do a different mechanic and they told me that this place incorrectly installed the valve cover and actually broke it in the process. So I had to get it replaced and reinstalled a second time costing me an additional $600.The only way I'm resolving this is with a full refund. I've already disputed the transaction with my bank, you just need to agree to let me have my money back. I've included a screenshot from the menekie website that shows that I needed a replacement valve cover.

This is Regarding Complaint ID: ********
Sorry for the late Response, I have talked to the Tech ****** *******, Stated the client ****** ******* was already Irritated at the oil leak still being present, ****** stated he wasn't the tech to work on it but said he understood the frustration about it that if he would wait patiently, he would get him in. ****** ******* kept insisting he should get in sooner than later because he had called and was told to bring the vehicle, at this point ****** had removed a vehicle to get Jordens Vehicle in. Being already Frustrated ****** said he would just take it elsewhere because he wasn't ok with the 5 minutes he had to wait. ****** told him multiple times he had removed a vehicle so we could check it. Jordens Voice only getting more intense, said don't worry about it you'll be hearing from me. Another tech Was present and said at no point did ****** elevate his voice to yell at ******. Understanding the significance of this event, not only did we do valve cover and gasket, we also did Spark plugs and serpentine belt which have nothing to do with the valve cover that was supposedly cracked or broken. I don't mind reimbursing for labor and parts for valve cover amounting in $435 no cents, but the other items have nothing to do with this issue. We would also like pictures of the actual broken valve cover.

The business has just made multiple false accusations against me that I fully plan on fighting if this is brought to court. For starters, I was extremely patient when I arrived. I was perfectly fine for waiting however long I needed to, and the secondary mechanic shop I went to can attest to that. Additionally, I was not irritated when I came in. And you know for a fact I wasn't because you wouldn't have agreed to the appointment in the phone call I made in the first place if I was. Was I confused that no one knew about the appointment made? Sure, but I was fully okay with them needing to make room for my car, which is why I waited and explained the issue as your Tech looked up my car in your system. Basically the only time I spoke at first was when your tech asked me questions. The reason why I left is because your tech kept getting distracted and making rude comments at me. I did not say anything about being angry with having to wait. Nor did I say anything about you guys hearing from me. The only comment I made when I left was about how you guys were clearly too busy. Additionally, a second tech was NOT present during the exchange. A second tech came out for maybe 5 seconds to literally just tell me he had no idea what was going on and shrugged and left. Beyond that it was just me and the main tech that was dealing with me. And the fact that you are only speaking from the first techs account is again proof that you are lying.

I'm requesting a full refund because it costs me a lot of money to get it cleaned, more oil, and repaired. Not to mention the damage to my engine as a result of it running on low oil. Also, those other repairs you mentioned, you told me you had to replace them because of the oil leak damaging them. So since you failed to fix the oil leak, guess what got damaged again genius?

Also, I would've loved to get my own pictures of the damage to the valve cover but because you barely bother to do your job, it's been over a month since I've gotten it repaired. So I am physically unable to take my own picture of it now. Had you bothered to respond to this like an actual business owner I could've taken a picture. I can probably request a picture from meineke, but frankly you should. I want you to call up a real mechanic and ask them for proof of your failures. I'll authorize the whole thing, I just want you to hopefully learn something from them in the process.

I cannot wait to prove all of this is court because discovery will allow me to pull the security footage you had for all of this. Don't think I didn't notice the webcam recording me. The fact is, you would've already have brought up the webcam footage to prove me wrong if I was lying. But you never even acknowledged that the entire exchange was recorded. Meaning you watched it, saw your addict tech make a fool of himself, and decided to hide it.

The fact is, you failed to do your job, and instead of fixing it you double down like a coward and defend your heroin addict tech. I can't wait for his substance abuse on the job to be brought up in all of this because you wont be able to hide the heroin needle marks in time.

Hope it was worth not giving me my refund like a sane person.
