Purchased a bathtub 17 years ago. No problems until June when water sandwiched itself between the original tub and the BathFitters tub. I phoned BathFitters and described the problem. I also requested a new shower head, as mine was operating at 15 percent efficiency. I was informed whomever would address my problem would not have a shower head. BathFitters arrived 7/22. Pulled the drain out; not the problem. Stated water was coming from the wall. I requested mold remediation; was informed there was no need for this. (Stagnant water in 90 degree weather!). Bathroom window was resealed and replacement tub was ordered. The next day (7/23) I phoned to see if BathFitters would credit me the price of the replacement tub and I would pay the remaining cost of a bath-to-shower conversion. I was told that the replacement tub was a warranty item, rather than cash value, and he would have to check with his manager. Its been over 4 months with no response. ( should add initially I had phoned numerous times before finally getting a return phone call.). Within 10 days of BathFitters sealing my bathroom window the water was again between my 2 bathtubs. The bathtub is dangerous as when you step in it, it feels like youre walking on a bouncy house.

In July, 2023, I read in my church bulletin that Bathfitter would make a donation to the church food pantry if a potential client got a remodel estimate from Bathfitter. I decided to proceed with the offer. On 7/12/23, I ordered a replacement tub and surround. When discussing my accessory choices, I chose brushed nickel shower and faucet to match my existing vanity faucet. At no time was I informed that the new items would have plastic components. Installation was done 10/24 and 10/25/23. On 10/30 I informed Jeff A**** of Bathfitter that several problems needed to be addressed. Caulking was inadequate on the ceramic tile edge, the existing quarter round was poorly revised, a ceramic tile was broken, and white caulking was used where it should have been black caulking. The flooring had been installed in early 2023 and I was assured there would be no damage to the floor or quarter round. Jeff A**** notified the Service Dept. Carrie M******* from the Service Dept called me. I explained the problems. She said she would call me the following Friday or Monday to schedule service. I told her the next week would be best to do the work since I had a cold and didn't want to expose anybody. She never called. Emailed Jeff A**** 11/9/23 that issues were still unresolved and that the plastic faucet/shower were unacceptable. He said he would refer to upper management. 11/13/23 Bathfitter called and scheduled Paul for the service on 11/15/23. Paul reviewed the problems and said he would return to do the repairs soon. He did not address the faucet/shower problem. 11/16/23 I emailed Jeff A***** *hat the repairs and faucet/shower was not resolved.11/22/23 Jeff A**** texted me that my dissatisfaction would be referred to a Delta faucet company representative. As of this date, none of the problems have been addressed.
