Contacted my home warranty company (HSA) about a leaking outdoor water pipe. Paid $100 before job was completed as per contract. Was assigned this company. Bob came out and "repaired" job only for the outdoor handle to fall complete off because it was not put on properly. He blamed my wife for walking past and dis lodging it. I contacted Bob many times times to come back and fix the original issue since I paid in full. He set 4-5 different appointments and never came. Would not return calls or text regarding the issue. He is rude, un professional, and is a scam artist if you read any reviews or BBB page. I am requesting a full refund. I have also contacted the Home Warranty company, as they have received many complaints and are adding to their banned list.

This service was assigned by HSA home warranty. Multiple times, he did not show, but always had excuses. He said he had other more important jobs, & said he would call an hour before he arrived. He finally did show up after stating he wasn’t sure he would take the job because he didn’t think he would like me. Like me? What if I didn’t like him? So he showed up & said that the toilet was on an uneven surface because of the sloping basement floor. He said he needed to mix some concrete and make a flat plinth for the toilet & of course this would not be covered so it would be out of pocket. He said he would charge $200, no more, and that would include replacing the gas line on the hot water heater if I paid for the parts. This was on a Sunday and he said I would be his first job Monday morning. Monday morning he calls and claimed he had 2 flat tires and there was no service station open to fix them. When he still hadn’t arrived, I called and he was on another job. He said I told you I would get to you. No he did not. He said I was the first job Monday morning. He did arrive, but he did not call first. I turned around and saw him standing at my door. He replaced the toilet, but he did not do any of the cement work, so the toilet is still uneven and he did a terrible caulking job around it. He then asked for $250 for a job he did not do and insisted that it be a check only. This is the only time I have worn my one button 911 medic alert for a contractor because he creeped me out that much. I wrote him the $250 check to get him out of my house. The toilet replacement was covered 100% and a short gas line does not cost $250. When I complained to the home warranty company, I learned he had not declared the out-of-pocket expenses on my part. He then proceeded to blow up my phone with numerous calls from a variety of numbers. I recently went online to the FB group that supports HSA customers, & discover another local woman who had the almost identical experience with him.

Contracted American Insulation in November 2022 to insulate our entire home. They came out and did the work on the 2nd of November. Their cleanliness left a bit to be desired but it appeared that they did as agreed and insulated the whole house. When remodeling, we noticed several bays didn't have insulation in them and our entire kitchen was uninsulated. I tried to reach out to the owner Bob who assured me he wasn't the kind of guy to not finish a job as promised. That has proven to be completely untrue. I have tried to reach him 10-20 times and he is generally unresponsive to any of it except to occasionally test back and say I'll call you later, which he doesn't do. We paid $3550 for whole house insulation per our written agreement. I have now had to hire someone else to insulate our kitchen. So I am now looking for a partial refund and some type of assurance the rest of the walls were completed so we can benefit from this insulation.

Contacted Rob about insulation of my attic. And quoted me, what I considered a fair price. On the day he arrived he said that he could do the other parts of my house for just the extra material cost, which I agreed. After he completed he told me another $1200, which I thought was too much, but paid it. I then went to the company website and found his prices and sent him the following text message. So because of your lack of response and your text messages. I am going to look at small claims court. According to your website. You where charging 1.99 sf. So you used 35 bags in all the areas you did, which is 1680sf @$2.00sf is $3360. You charged me $4600. This is why I was perfectly fine with you offering the spray foam for free. Or you could give me my $1200 back. Your call? He then told me he could do spray foam around my house and would not charge me. That was 2.5 months ago, and now he will not respond to text messages. I am looking for a refund or complete promised services. My next action is small claims court!

Mr, P***** finally did show up to complete the job. He does good work, I was frustrated with the delays and lack of communication and obvious evasive tactics to not respond or ignore contact. He has profusely apologized to myself and my father, and has offered to refund part of the payment to my father for his trouble in writing. All of those apologies are hollow, because he is only interested in taking money from folks and not completing the work as promised contractually. See not only my Yelp review, but there is another recent one on there with a very similar complaint. So after involving the local police and BBB, Angieslist, etc, Mr P***** finished the work on my dads house, he also asked my dad to write a statement saying the work was completed to his satisfaction, and in that statement HE promised to refund him $500, in a bank check to be delivered by 1/13/23. Guess what, check never came, he did call and said he would hand deliver it on 1/16/23, guess what, no show again. Both my dad and I tried contacting him on 1/17/23, guess what, no answer, no call back. This guy asked me to take down all of my reviews and complaints, which I had done, or at least modified because I'm not trying to keep somebody from earning a living. But I can tell you, that this guy always has an excuse or will ignore you, he is not a man of his word or his written contract apparently. NOONE should use this company

My elderly father contracted with Robert P*****, owner of American Insulation Services to insulate his home on 11/18/22. The agreed upon price for the service was $4960.00 and he was promised that the work would be done within 2 weeks. My dad paid $2500.00 up front to pay for spray in foam insulation, and the remainder was for blown in insulation. I contacted Mr. P***** as a surprise for my father to pay the remainder and to get the work done before it got cold, Mr. P***** advised me that the work would be done that week, that was on 11/29 and he sent me a request to pay $2800.00 (which he erroneously said was the balance due), I did not know at the time what the full price was, so he overcharged me by $340.00. they did show up to do half of the job, the blown in insulation, but not the foam, he repeatedly did not show up on the days he said he would be there to perform the work, and would not answer calls or texts from myself or my father. We had a family friend call from a different phone to request a "quote" and Mr. P***** responded right away, my dad answered that call, and Mr. P***** advised that he would have a crew out there that day, two hours later his whole crew had ****** then the next few days it was too cold to apply the insulation. he has called me since a couple of times to advise me that "he doesn't run his business that way" and that it was a series of unfortunate circumstances, and the overcharge was by accident. he has since refunded the $340.00 overcharge, and was scheduled to show up today 1/2/23 to finish the work and again did not show up, did not call and ignored 4 phone calls and two texts. The work was supposed to be completed over a month ago, and he has been paid in full. I sent him a request to be refunded my $2460.00 through Venmo, Text and Facebook Messsenger and I will find another contractor to finish the job. I have not gotten a response. If the job is not done tomorrow, 1/3/23, I would like the $2460 refunded.
