            Library Ceiling Project Initial Scope of Work Hang new drywall ceiling in library; prep, prime and paint ceiling March 31, 2024 Received quote/estimate from contractor for $1250.00 April 1, 2024 Homeowners accepted quote VIA e-mail April 3, 2024 Homeowners accepted quote electronically August 18, 2024 Homeowners prepped room and hung plastic drop cloths all around the room from the ceiling down August 21, 2024 Contractor began work Homeowners paid first half of balance due ($ ******) via check 6955 August 27, 2024 Contractor completed work and removed the drop cloths before allowing homeowner to inspect the work Homeowners paid second half of balance due ($ ****** / paid in full) via check 6957 August 30, 2024 Homeowners advised contractor VIA e-mail that there are issues with the work September 5, 2024 Contractor came out to discuss issues with homeowners September 6, 2024 Contractor came and fixed some of the issues September 10, 2024 Homeowners advised contractor VIA e-mail that there are still issues September 13, 2024 Homeowners contacted contractor VIA text September 17, 2024 Homeowners attempted to call contractor several times but always got the contractors voice message. Homeowners found a broken piece from the sliding glass door on a shelf no idea where it came from and contractor did not bring it to homeowners attention 6. Paint from the contractors shoes was tracked onto an adjacent concrete patio.The contractor refuses to return calls, texts or emails in an attempt to have the issues corrected. We would like a partial refund in lieu of additional work
