In January, 2019, BBB investigated United Auto Movers business practices. This investigation was prompted by consumer complaints and reviews filed against the business. Those complaints and reviews involve consumers having issues with United Auto Movers transporting a vehicle for the consumer and either the company changing the price of the contract mid move or damage to the vehicle. All consumers stated they spoke with the owner Joe who agreed to refund money, but no refunds were ever made.
The BBB requested background information from the business including any applicable licensing or registration, a description of their services, names of all principals involved in the company and their three year work history, as well as a business model.
As of February 12, 2019, the business failed to respond to BBB's request for information.
