I ordered a notary kit from Presto Direct. They sent me a video on how to how to use because the seal tore the paper when applied. The embosser or sealer is defective. The embosser is made by Shiny America and seems sturdy. I think the seal itself is defective. Further, the notary book and registry of official deeds is too small to write in. To their credit, the dimensions were clear. Very poorly put together. I ordered a different kit and the impressions do not tear through the paper. I tried to work with them, but there is a 30 day refund policy, so I am doing that.I think there are significant issues with the seal itself. Other notaries have embossers manufactured by Shiny America that seem to work. The problem is that the seal itself is at issue.Review from Christina A.

I ordered a new notary seal kit from Presto Direct. The handle was delivered and is defective. I have emailed photos and been in constant contact. They have done nothing to resolve this or back their damaged product. I gave up and went another route with a different vendor. They have provided very poor customer service.

We provided a video tutorial demonstrating the correct way to insert the seal into the embosser. After the customer reported continued issues, we requested a photo of the embosser handle. Upon inspection, we discovered that the embosser was still locked, causing a poor impression and difficulty in usage. Instructions were provided to unlock it. We also sent them a photo of the initial impression of the embosser before shipping it to them. The proof confirmed that the embosser was functioning correctly. And that the seal impression on the paper was clear and crisp. The embosser will function correctly once it is unlocked.Customer Response

We are very educated people and know how to unlock the handle. Frankly I have spent more money in time than this has been worth. You should have allowed for the return and replacement. Trust me, its broken. I am still happy to return it. I offered to return it for a replacement but I have since bought another from a different company. At this point, a refund is the only professional response. This has been impossible. Thank you.
