I keep getting mailings & calls from this company that I've never done business with. Maybe a relative used my address but no one here by the name ******* *., lives here. I have attempted over the many many years to tell J. G. Wentworth to STOP the harassing calls & mailings, to no avail. Sometimes they would call on a daily bases, other times, every 9ther day, but now we're inundated with mailings from JG Wentworth & it's frustrating. Especially when I've sent their mailings back with "does not live here", wrong address", & the mailings continue. How many times do people need to keep complaining about harassing companies to stop them from breaking the law & continuing to harass citizens? The frustrating is real. Please help. Thank you for your time. I am the owner of this address & no other male lives at this address & hasn't for over 9 years or more.Business response

JG Wentworth has been harassing me for years, calling me to try and sell my annuities. I've repeatly told them to remove me off the calling list and to stop texting me. I've had to block a few numbers, but they just keep calling. They are extremely rude trying to make me feel stupid for not selling my lump sums.Business response

I sold my annuity to Jg wentworth. I was told they would give me 10,500.00.When the money was wired to my account they only gave me 8,650.00.I wasnt told they were going to do this they said I owed them from 2020. I never owed them anything. Will you help me get whats rightfully mine.Business response

Hi ******,
In 2020 you entered a contract with JG Wentworth to sell your annuity. At that time, we issued you an advance for $1,500.00. You ended up cancelling with us, without repayment of the advance and went with another company to sell your annuity. Per your cash advancement agreement you signed with JG Wentworth in 2020, we were still owed the $1,500.00 advance. We also advanced you $500.00 in the current transaction. We collected that as well, for a total of $2,000.00.

I unfortunately used JGW over seven years ago. Since then I have told them many times verbally by phone to stop contacting me. Sometimes they will stop for a while, but it inevitably starts up again. I still get their spam mailers regularly, and today I got a phone call with a voicemail from someone identifying themselves as ***. It was from a similar number that has recently been calling and calling and calling me nonstop but not leaving voicemails. I should have made this complaint years ago.Business response

What happens if I dont respond to this at all? I dont want to respond that I am satisfied with their response because it remains to be seen if my information has actually been taken off of their marketing list. I dont have anything extra to dispute either. I just dont think I should accept their response if theres no way of knowing they are telling the truth, given that they deceived me before.Customer response

I signed into a contract with jg Wentworth. I was sent a 350 dollar check as a signing bonus. The check doesn't have an issuing bank listed and also warns a few times that it must be activated. Nobody in town will touch the check. I even took to ***** *********** and they refused to open an account with it. I've given Wentworth a few days to correct with no luck. They are talking to me as if I'm being dishonest about not getting it cashed. I also offered to send it back and void it out. Just 5 minutes ago, the rep *** said he for a fact will not send another one out. It's seems like they tricked me to sign the contract.Business response

This company has been harassing me for the last 7 years. I have called and answered calls where I have begged them to stop and they just won’t! They lie and say they will stop but they never do! I receive postal mail disguised to trick you to open it almost every day by this company. I even switched my phone number so I would stop receiving unsolicited calls and they somehow found my new number. This is illegal! Stop sending me mail! Stop calling me! I am not interested in your services and I never will be! This feels scary at the point! Leave me alone!! I am begging!!Business response

I receive 3-5 unsolicited emails from this company EVERY DAY. I have tried to unsubscribe to no avail. I have no idea how they got my email address. I want them to stop sending me the exact same email hundreds of times every month.Business response

Hello
As of 1 pm EST I am still receiving email from this company soliciting me for credit services. It seems impossible to get them to leave me alone. Its been several weeks now and their spam servers are still working overtime.
