    I completed an application for a rental unit. I complied with every requirement. The rental company denied my application for not having the correct about of income. However I exceed the amount of income. When I contest it the Manager said I didn't complete the application correctly. I asked for the application. They refused to provide it. I believe I am being discriminated against for race and familial status. I am License Realtor and I know the law.

    We process application first come first serve. While all income may have met the requirement, there were others ahead that got approved first.

    This company is a scam. They illegally took 6345 dollars from me and had me move into a house that was not inspected. Had no heat and was completely filthy. Called the township of eddystone and they informed me we weren’t allowed to live there due to them not having it inspected. I never spent a night there. Now they are fighting me to get my money back and claim that 800 will be deducted from my 6345 due to occupying the space for 2 weeks!?! We never even slept there. They told me to take them to court to get my full amount back. The township is citing them for violations. This whole experience has been extremely traumatic for me my girlfriend and her mother. How a company can do this and get away with it is beyond me. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I guess my next step is small claims court.

    Rent well is the worst company ever they tell lies they took over managing our apartment building when a new landlord bought our property and they threw us out of our apartment of 22 years they never put our heat on when winter came then to try to get us out quicker when we had trouble finding a place they shut off our hot water and we have a teenager that goes to school every day and we are disabled. They lied and said they were leaving heaters for us and they didn’t and they said they were working to fix the hot water and they didn’t. They never answered our calls when we needed to talk to them or our texts or emails.

    The tenants were given a 60 day notice to quit on 9/6/2022 due to major repairs needing to be completed at the property to be up to borough code. They expressed they could not find a place so after working with the owner we were able to extend the stay until a place could be found. Tenant has expressed several issues with the unit but on 3 occasions would not let someone in to photograph the issues. The property manager was looking for properties for them to move into but once one was found the tenants said they had found a place but moving would be slow to not having a way to move their belongings, again owner was fine to let them stay. The heater went down when doing renovations to the first floor units, it was repaired the next day. The hot water heater was replaced the same day as it went from gas to electric. When the water went out again we had to wait for someone to be home and the techs found nothing wrong. Text messages were not answered as they were sent to our system text messaging after hours but were answered the very next morning. We are trying to work around things but all in all you were aware of renovations that needed to take place and had ample time to move out after the non renewal issued in September.
