    I have a one year lease with Maleno, which it's up until Jun/05th. They have asked me if i would like to extend my stay and i agreed for one more month extra which i signed the extended lease during the weekend. However i was terminated on Monday (unexpectedly) so i have informed the leasing office. Accordingly, they have charged me a penalty of 2 months rent - It's okay but in addition to that they are charging me an extra lease breakage of $1450 the office is refusing to reply back to my email or provide a full explanation in addition they are circling back with a phone calls ans refusing to reply to my emails directly after i asked for addition explanation due to learning disability - and this is a privacy of mine (I am not required to share that with then) until today's date they are adding extra charges on my account on daily bases and they are refusing to give an explanation. Unit inspection was done on Feb/19th which means the unit is ready to be rented out and they are double dipping!! collecting rent and extra fees/charges while they are renting the unit out. Moreover, the staff are being unethically treating me. I have attached a copy of the emails - Grateful that their employee did apologized on each highlighted aspect which it's a confirmation of her unethical behavior! I had to include the president of the property that when she responded back to back to me They are claiming the property manager is calling!!! I only received one missed call with a VM that has nothing to solve the problem which i have been addressing in my chain of emails. The property manager should reply to the emails as it should be not circling and gaining more money.

    Hello ******,

    We are sorry to hear that you had to break your lease and vacate the property. As we have discussed via email, we are going to waive the 60 days' notice that is required in the executed lease agreement and only charge the break lease penalty equal to two months rent. Thank you for making the payment on your resident portal. The security deposit is being processed this week and will be returned in full to you within 5-7 business days. As far as I'm aware, this issue has been resolved. Please let us know if we can be of further help. Supporting documentation including the lease agreement, ledger, email communications, etc. can be provided if needed or requested.
