They will only get a 1 because I have to put a rating they deserve NONE AT ALL but this cemetery is very horrible.I shouldn’t have to go visit my child and can barely find his grave or walk in grass up to my knees. I am absolutely upset that I had to use my hands to remove the grass around my child & other family members graves when this should be done. It’s already hard having to visit family members at a cemetery but to come and it looks a mess can’t find your family member is devastating.This cemetery was way better years ago and should go back to how it was or better specially with all the money they get from different families.Review from Dee Dee G

Who ever the woman is that answers the phone is very rude. She doesn't identify herself or the name of the business. She answers the phone, "HELLO?" For someone mourning the death if a loved one it makes you think you have the wrong number. Then she can be a bit sassy and snappy. Unprofessional!Review from Sharmaine E

After burying my father we were very disappointed with the way the grounds were kept. Upon learning of the way my father and Nana’s grace was being kept I visited the office. There I learned it was under new management. Ms. Jamillah advised that she was new and was working to rectify the problems she inherited. She said she was trying to get things in order by Mother’s Day. I told her I would give her the benefit of the doubt and wait to see what happened. I also stated that I couldn’t guarantee my family’s reaction but would let them know as well. It’s now Father’s Day and things have improved greatly! I can see where the grass has been cut. There were no geese or geese droppings and no foul & fowl smells. She assured me that they would be cutting the grass in the area my dad’s is by the weekend before Father’s Day. Prayerfully Ms. Jamillah will bring the looks of White Chapel back to where respect was shown for the deceased. Praying her strength.Review from Lea W

I agree with Monique - another complaintant from 2019. I buried my mom September 2021. Went this month to visit the grave site. The headstone with my grandmother and mom’s name is already on the tombstone. The only thing it needs is to put the year of my mother’s death on there and it’s still not done. The landscaping is still horrible. You had to step in the tall grass with the fear of being devoured by mosquitoes! When I went to the office to inquire about these things, as Monique stated, the owner is elderly and now is sickly. The person that is in the office, is basically trying to maintain things for Mrs. Nix ( the owner), but it is clearly evident that someone needs to come in and take full control. The person in the office could not give me any answers regarding when my my mom’s tombstone will be updated. Hell! She couldn’t even tell me when the grass was going to be cut!!! This situation is very heartbreaking. 1. People are trying to find a peaceful resting place for their loved ones. 2. Monies for these gravesites are due before burial. Where is the money going? These grounds would be beautiful if someone would just take the time and give this place some TLC.
