I had my roof replaced by Ireland Contracting. They are the best contractor I have ever dealt with, from the salesman *** (who was also on site throughout installation), to the Office Manager who helped me pick the color of shingles, to the ****************** They where the nicest men and a woman who I have dealt with. I strongly recommend them!

We had our roof replaced by Ireland Contracting on 9/20/23. Our roof had been leaking and we could not find the guy who installed it just 10 years ago. We saw an ad in our church bulletin and called. **** the owner called us the next day. He came over and got up and inspected the roof and advised us he could quote us to repair the part where the leaking was occurring and a quote for a total new roof. He also advised us that our chimney needed to be repointed and it was best to do that job first. He was able to give us the name of a good person to do that job and they came out and took care of the chimney issues so we could go on to the roof replacement. We went with the total roof replacement due to the fact it would be better at the time of selling our house. We were given a date for installation which was only pushed back 1 day due to rain storms so another job could be completed. The day of installation everyone arrived on time and the work was done in 1 day as promised. **** also had checked on how many bathroom vents we had and told us that the previous roof job had not put in the roof vent for our main bathroom and they installed it for us. **** came over to make sure all was done properly and we were satisfied with the work. When our rather old roof (39 years) sprung a leak this summer we contacted Ireland Contracting for an evaluation. Neighbors and family have had good experience using Ireland so we chose to call Ireland. **** was the contact person who came to our house. After looking at the leak from the inside of the house, he made an on the roof inspection to determine the condition of the roof and the source of the leak. He was able to affix a patch to stop the leak. As we expected, **** advised us that we needed a new roof. He returned in a few days with an estimate and recommendations for the job. He was very patient with us as we debated as to the color of shingle we preferred. Every time we called him with questions, he was quick to reply and was willing to come back and explain details of the job. The estimate for the project was about $9.50 per square foot. Which sounded very reasonable to us.We agree to contract with Ireland to replace the roof and **** told us to plan on early September and that he would be the supervisor on hand for the project. The project began on Thursday, August 31 and completed Friday September 1. Delivery of material (date and time), the skip and the crew were exactly as **** stated. The crew was punctual, efficient and respectful. First time we had work done by crew that spent more time on the job with less chit chat. As they were installing the roof, the crew was willing to answer questions and explain processes. We asked for one change in the color of a section of flashing, which was promptly done. The crew made two additions (one to a down spout and the other to a slope) that would make the water drain better. Clearly this crew was well experienced in replacing roofs. Clean up went very well. No papers, shingles and virtually no nails. The roof looks perfect and has greatly improved the appearance and value of the house. All aspects of the project deserve the 5- star rating.

I had a great experience starting with the estimate, organizing best color option for siding and soffit facia very professional and a pleasure to work with. The crew that came to my house were outstanding - they worked diligently until the job was done - very talented and their work and cleanup were more than I could ask for. The team at Ireland Contracting were always in contact with me from start to finish. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again!
