STAY AWAY DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Rented a garage from Hulson for 6 and a half years, and they were acceptable for the first 2-3 years, but they then began to raise the rent yearly despite not spending a single dollar on the garage. Ended up at $100 more a month by the end, for a small 2 car garage. They are terrible at communication and have to be emailed and contacted multiple times before anyone answers days later. Then theres the property owner *********************** who is an absolute slumlord who refused to fix the walk in door to the garage that had a rotting and bug infested frame that was letting rain, bugs, and wind through the frame. By the time we moved out Im surprised the door didnt just fall over on to the ground. Hulson and ***** were contacted about this door many many times including through the official maintenance request process. ***** even said he wanted to meet me in person to look at the door, and then he didnt show up at the discussed date and time and I never heard from him again and only heard from Hulson. Absolute slumlord behavior to not replace a simple door frame for a tenant that never once paid rent late for 6 and a half years. Then once I was moved out, Hulson waited exactly the maximum allowed by law 30 days to return my security deposit and not a day sooner. The only positive thing I can say about my time renting from Hulson and *********************** of ******************* is that Im glad I wasnt renting a house from them based off my experience with a simple garage, and all the other terrible experiences people have posted in these reviews. I dont understand how these people are still in business. By the way, ***** is currently a Hanover Borough councilman, to give you an idea of what he thinks of the people he serves in his elected position.
